I see NC plates and Pisgah national forest stickers, was just down there and considering moving there eventually. How are the dual sport trails/single track down there? I saw Brown Mountain looks interesting.

 

Yeah, I’m in Asheville, good eye. It’s dual sport heaven here. I have not been to brown, there’s also some others, but you can pretty much get off pavement and go for hundreds of miles. Pisgah, Nantahala, Cherokee national forests, up to Mt Roger’s, Washington Jefferson, Monongahela. So much to explore and ride. ……Aaand, I love the dispersed free camping. Can literally ride off into the woods, and stay there til you need fuel or supplies.

I highly recommend it. Late fall is my favorite time, fewer tourists, leaves are off the trees so you get spectacular views. I pinch myself daily I live here.

But also selling or buying anything on fb is a clusterf*ck. Im trying to sell my broken iPhone, and this is my entertainment for today. Plus the other 36 people who have offered less than half..

 

Haven't been in here for a while, and this may be old news to some, but Imagination 2.0 is/was monumental in the freeride/style realm. Amazing what humans can do on these bikes now. I encourage everyone to watch the entire series, as well as the Fried videos of each individual riders run when you have time.
