Rite rite. I happened to come across the site last night and figured I'd ask. I don't see me getting one, just wondering about them.

    So...

Rossi spites Honda and walks to Yamaha.

    Rossi wins title for Yamaha.

Rossi wants one of his previous race bikes from Honda.

Honda says no for various reasons.

    Rossi is not happy.

... Rossi needs to stop being a spoiled child.

pretty sure he won 3 manufacturer tittles for honda 2000-2003...

he left honda because honda though it was the bike more than the rider...
but as we all know, the saying goes 20%bike 80%rider

he won four titles for yamaha so idk it is what it is

Perhaps the most important thing to consider with Aprilia is the dealer network. It's relatively small, so service or warranty related things may be an issue. It's somewhat of a boutique brand so most replacement parts are not going to be stocked at your local dealer.

As far as the motorcycles themselves, they're amazing machines. I've had mine for about 6mo's and my dad has owned them since I was a kid. That tuareg looks like it would be a fun bike!

Kicking myself for misplacing the Kriega subframe loops for my small bag. I looked through every box in my garage and drawer in my toolbox and still couldn't find them. I found some other straps that i was going to try to adapt, but then I thought maybe i put the straps into some little bag that i used for random moto parts. Found them! And saved $12+ shipping. Now I don't need to sell the bag to @spencermarkd. :D But I could send you the mounting/antislip thing..

and at the same time, not sure if it will work with my setup

Sorry, not taking away from Rossi’s accomplishments on any bike. I think the super fans are having more of a tantrum than Rossi is. And if Rossi is crying about it, well, don’t know what to say.

As a fan of things that go vroom. It was awesome to sit in a WRC winning EVO and the Paris to Dakar winning Pajero at the Mitsubishi heritage collection. That wouldn’t have happened if they were gifted to the drivers.

idk, plenty of racers are given a car or a bike or two....
not all pilots get them sure, but many sure have, if rossi is crying or not idk he can surly build a replica, also the reality is there are more than one of these things anyway so could they part with one if only just a practice bike

and i think it is common place for these machines to go out on loan and be toured around for the fans to see and sometimes sit inside of, so those raced vehicles you sat in I am sure had a owner and it could have very well been privately owned also

just like art work in a museum, a lot of it is on loan from the private owner, either for money or simply because that is a place better suited for long term preservation

I still think the SMH-10R is the slimmest bluetooth unit you can get, if slim is what you're going for. It's a couple bluetooth versions old but still sounds good and I haven't seen anything match it's low profile-ness.

I’m still looking for a good headset, just haven’t pulled the trigger. The SMH10 and the Cardo PakTalk slim are my top two since they’re the smallest profile. The Cardo has better sound (according to reviews) and is still pretty slim, but has an external batter pack that gets mounted at the back of the helmet.

The SMH10-R has a battery pack at the back, too, but I don't mind it since the side is so small. The only downside with the battery on the back is wiring it in if you have a neck roll or some kind of pad trim piece at the back. I had to slit it a little on one of the two helmets I've had it on for it to wire up cleanly. Oh, and with the battery wire basically being on the back middle of the helmet, it ends up being the first thing I set my helmet down on, so the insulation on mine has basically rubbed off. I need to put some new heat shrink over it or something.

That one that i linked uses vibrations to transmit the sound, so nothing wired inside the helmet. Just that big thing on the outside

I really like the setup of my cheapy headset. Everything is wired inside and the charging port is on a 4” cable that I can tuck in behind the cheek pads. Just pull it out when I need to charge. If only the speakers and blue tooth wasn’t garbage. Haha.
