Just buy acerbis black plastics and wrap them.

You running the trailtech next to the stock dash? Where the hell can you mount it?

I need rad guards. Tired of pulling shit out of my stock plastic fins.

I haven't ridden my bike anywhere fun a while either. There's no place close enough to ride too. I need a hitch hauler or trailer.

Someone piled logs all over the trails i used to ride. I got to hopping them...then they started piling rocks and brush with the logs.

So those trails are basically useless now. Can't believe people waste their time doing that shit. I mean throw a few 'posted' or 'no tresspassing' signs up. I always obey those. Don't make the trails actually fucking hazardous. Some of the hillclimbs only have half way up or the top blocked off. Can you imagine how irate you would be if you ran into a log or giant rock mid hillclimb?

    Ridiculous.

I was thinking about wrapping my stock ones and replacing some of them with black ones to make it look good.

I would take the stock one off.

The fit on mine isn't all that great but when I called they pretty much said every bike is slightly different and I should just make it work lol

I've been riding on my busted ankle.

Get a professional to wrap it. From my experience, lol.

Only oem plastics will fit right. All others will do but usually suck

I would tear all that out and try to confront them if I ran into them rebuilding the barriers. Not aggressively, just to ask why and find out if it's their land or something.

I would also go find out if it legitimately was their land.

I'm sure it is. It sucks to lose it as it was some fantastic riding. But if people are going to go barbarian on it, i'll stay away. Its not worth it.

Hurry up and get some before you end up like I did.
I've had a couple trails have large rocks stacked up where would go to get out of the trail. Usually there's still a spot wide enough to fit through, but we usually don't discover that until after we slam into the rocks because the grass is so tall....

As long as I don't see any vehicles around I'll usually check a trail out regardless. But my trails are usually hiking trails, not some rednecks' private property haha

Thats how i got my first fork booboo.

Rocks piled up around a fence post with grass tall enough to conceal them.

I wheelied over some of the brush and got a stick in one of my radiators. Didn't make the radiator fail, but tweaked a few fins. Now you see why its not worth it.

I'm probably going to make one I've got o e of these ^^ that's been sitting for a while now. Should be pretty simple, probably not as cheap but it's been sitting there so why not.

Its the rad guard that don't fit well.

I might find oem black plastics then. I'd only need a few pieces the rest would be wrapped.

Yeah, not fun. Reminds me of one night a buddy of mine and I were riding around town at night with a bunch of sport bikes. We got the bright idea to cut across a grassy area instead of going around. We're doing about 25mph and see a 2 feet deep ditch last minute. Gunned it, hoped for the best, and somehow both made it across. Scariest thing I've done on the bike so far I think haha

Looking forward to exploring some desert trails in the near future. Hopefully it doesn't make me want to upgrade to Racetech....

I don't want to throw more money at the bike just in case I do decide to get something else. But I might not get a different dual sport for another 3+ years so I'm not sure what I plan to do...

There's a hard line I think it's an oil line on the side of the right radiator that the upper bracket screw hits. I'm probably just going to zip tie or bailing wire the top one. Its not really a big deal but still.

I don't think that was his point. They should have put up a sign or gate, not made a trap for people.

I'm not stopping. This thing is keeping me from buying an SV650 or an FZ07. I have to keep it interesting.
