Currently I have a dunlop trailmax mission on the rear, I think. Before that was a motoz tractionator gps, then a heidenau k60 before that.

I’m still running the tractionator on the front.

I’ll probably spoon something new on in the Spring.

K60 is amazing on and off road, but sucks in any kind of wet weather. Lasted me 8,000 miles I think and could have easily gone longer.

Tractionators weren’t as good on road as the K60s but better off-road. I think I got 4 or 5,000 miles on those.

The dunlop’s were the most road oriented, I think, but still held their own in gravel and dirt. I honestly don’t know how many miles I have on them yet, but they’ve developed a weird 40 and 80mph oscillation that’s annoying AF.

There’s a new tractionator variant I’m intrigued by, I forget what it’s called though

I've heard about all of those, but not first hand experience.

Heard anything about Michelin Anakee Adventure or Wild? They're expensive though. Or Shinko 705 or Bridgestone Battleax Adventure (not adventure touring like I have now)

I'm running Shinko 705's and they've done well for commuting as well as on the grass, dirt, and gravel for me. They've gotten me into a couple of places I had no business going on a super moto but got me back out again quite handily. I know they have a mediocre rep for street tires but their "dual" tires seem to get pretty good reviews...

The mount is awesome! I don't know if ill be able to go back to a basic bike after i test apple carplay out tomorrow!

Google maps will help with on road stuff, and OnXOffroad will help with trails. Excited to use this! Plus Amazon music streaming to my Sena means podcasts and music. No more singing to myself

Same here. Finally did my 1k service a few weeks ago- bought the bike in September. Now it’s rainy season here so I’ll only get a few days here and there where I can ride comfortably- at least for the next month or so.

That VFR sounds amazing! Love retrospective vids!

Just ordered some heated (dedicated) moto gloves (Highway 21 brand). Should be able to quickly recoup the cost by getting in more "commuting" days when I might otherwise take the truck!

Hi, that's a 'powerlet' power socket. Used by some brands of heated gear. My Triumph has two of them from the factory. I like them much better than a 12V socket or even the SAE connectors. Even made an adapter cable for my battery tender to plug into them.
