Time for new tires and I’ve been eyeing the Michelin Anakee Wilds but they are sold out and back ordered so meh, guess I’ll stick with the Anakee adventures but them sold out as well. Going with some Dunlop Trailmax Mission m’s and I guess Dunlop rates them as a 50/50 tire but people say it’s more 70/30.

MoD has a set they are holding for me and I’ll get them installed on Saturday after I get back from FL.

That's what I have spooned on currently. Long life, good grip, good rain grip, good on-road manners. I'm a fan. I'd agree with the 70on/30off. They have some CHONKY lugs, super deep, but also super wide/large surface area for the lugs. Great for gravel roads, not so great on mud/sand.

Edit: of the tires I've tried, I'd rate Trailmax Mission > Motoz Tractionator > K60 scout

I was looking those for the Tiger for when I need to buy. If you get them, please report back. I still have a bit of life on the Tourance that came on it when I bought. It is used. Not sure if the previous owner put the factory ones back on or bought a second pair for the bike.

I got 500 miles of good riding in while in Hawaii and now I’m headed home to below freezing and snow.

I hope you're like me where you get something and are like, man, this is a really good box, I'm saving this for the next time I need to fab something or make a template. I have 3 or 4 stashed in the garage at all times usually

CAD all day. I bought a roll of RamBoard a long time ago at Lowes and that’s what I use now. easy to cut and bend/shape and it holds up after repeated use.

The Anakee Adventure tires have great life, I’m up to 11,000 on this set with a mm or two before the wear indicator

Ive got a really nice double walled box that i will use to ship my coilovers out, and some other cardboard here for support. The big box on the right and 2 boxes on left are also nice, but they are in use, for now (future truck projects haha)

Yes. Definitely. More range. The tracking beacon and AI obstacle avoidance are the main differentiators.

I straight up just cut this box shorter and stuffed it away because holy hell it makes rebuilding cv's cleaner and easier! And I rebuild cv's like maybe once every 3 years. :anonymous:

Currently 11 here, I drove the 4Runner in and paid the $8 for parking :pout:

Ugh, I need to do that. The CV's on the 4R are beyond toast. I have some cardone ones sitting in boxes ready to go in until I can see what shape the OEM are in. I replaced my front suspension the other week, which gave me about 2 1/2" of lift and flipped the angle of the CV's the other direction. Water literally came pouring out of the boots :anonymous:
