Regular by me is going anywhere from $5.10 to $5.85

 

I put premium in the bike, but I dont know how much it is to fill. When I do drive the truck, I think the last time I filled up it was $55? I get why @4x4Runner is building out the bike for camping. We just need to work on the skills to get us to the places that the truck can get to.


@w.adventures my civic needs a head gasket. Ordered some parts, and it was $65 shipped. Im going to try to make it last for 3 more years. Also, bike hit 1k miles. Time to sell?

 

My wife just came back home from visiting family in Micronesia. $5.75 - $7.75 easy depending on what island you’re on haha.

 

can't say i'm surprised lol. from my experience, other countries always have more expensive fuel. I believe the UK is coming up on about $9/gal these days.

 

For a real gallon, or a voodoo gallon or whatever they do over there?

 

It's some old defunct measurement they call "litres" who knows.

The lure you in with price per litre, then you have to multiply by about 4 to get the gallon price. the ol bait n switch

I do miss it. I should have just replaced the ignition cylinder for ~300 myself. Im going to do the head gasket the "old school" way, using a flat surface and sand paper to machine the head. Call me cheap, but the civic budget per year is $12.. it gets nothing!

its always best going with people with more experience, you learn a lot that way and have some sort of insurance there

When I used to jam as a kid in high school I’d never play music with a group on the same level as me because I realized we never got any better haha. Hung out with old farts and learned a ton!
