That was exactly my mindset, a supermoto or FZ-09 whichever came along first. Would love a 701SM but they were fewer and far between, and almost always $8k+ which was more than I wanted to spend.

Thank you sir! It's slowly coming along... recently had the ceiling insulated and drywalled, then my wife and I painted it. Need to get more shelving in the other bay and set up another work bench among other things. I thought about doing the floor but not sure I want the hassle/expense.

    another angle:

Loving it! Only put about 400 miles on it so far. It's a super fun bike, sounds awesome and stupid fast compared to the Bolt haha. Suspension on it rides nice. And the front wheel is always coming up... grab some throttle in first, exiting out of a corner, in fifth gear cresting a hill ... definitely has me smiling in the helmet :D

I wish I had done my floor when I move in. Those epoxy coating are durable AF and clean up is super easy.

A all day! Haven’t tried B yet, is that helpful on the wet pavement?

Dirtbike is almost paid off once that is paid for. I might be getting the new mt09 or a used s1000r. My brother has the s1000r I've rode it a couple times I really like how that bike rides. But can be pricey

B is reduced power. I think I used it in rain when I got caught in it.

I had my z125 at the same time as the FZ, and switching between the two is difficult. For the 125, you have to WOT in every gear. Then I switch to the FZ and almost die.

Same. My garage floor is old and has years of oil stains and previously had linoleum tile and still has some adhesive remnants. Between the two I’d be concerned that I wouldn’t get proper adhesion. Or the prep wouldn’t be worth the work. I’m going to try Eagle gloss sealer on mine. I hear good things other than solvents like fuel and brake cleaner will soften the finish. Oil cleans right up though.

    Wow yeah huge difference there!

Yup also have old oil stains and was thinking the same. My buddy did his floor and said it was a lot of work with a grinder. That stuff looks good let me know how it goes.

@uurx you gonna do your floor?
