Just watched that. Those guys build cool stuff. Speaking of lights, they make a bracket to install a BD LP6 on a sportster and use the stock eyebrow. Looks really clean.

Man! I leave the forum for 8+ hours...

900's come with a much better stock suspension and that triple sound! Rationally speaking, the 700 would probably be fine... but who wants that?

I'm starting to realize I'm a picky SOB...

Can't get much naked'r than that!

My current plan: See if I can get my asking price for the Street. If so, that's a huge chunk towards a MT/XSR. Hope I can find one within 832 miles (being a little facetious there), and go for it. If I don't get a serious offer within a few weeks, go with upgrading the suspension with a nice aftermarket shock and cartridges, some more aggressive brake pads, and call it good.

I really do like the Triumph but someone of my modest skill level should not be noticing suspension flaws on a 7/10's twisty ride...

I have a pair of S1's on my bike and really like them.
Edit: Mine are mounted to the forks so there's a bit of directional light while turning

Diode Dynamics equivalent products. I love my BD stuff, but anything labelled "fog" DD seems to do quite a bit better.

I have a combination of both on the truck and was able to do a direct comparison between both products. There were something’s that I felt were better suited for BD and others that I preferred DD. they’re both awesome products, but you’re right- the fog lights from DD are great because they have a real cutoff.

Well said; I have a mix of both as well and reached the same conclusion. I didn't get to compare big light bars due to cost, but as far as pod lighting goes, DD seemed to take it.

I would like you to compare a 40" laser light of each. Then will make my decision

BD wins for bars. Pods are more task specific as far as who I’d recommend but you can’t really go wrong with either.

Add me to the list. In the market for a 2017+ FE350s. Got cash to buy it outright without selling the DRZ so I have no downtime in the season. Still not sure if I will sell the DRZ for a V-strom or pick up a NWF box and plasma for the truck.

Haha. My comparison was done before they came out with the “see it from space” lines. I only compared the squadron (in pro and sport) and the S8 bar. If the literature is to be believed, the higher end models that came out since then are way brighter but completely unnecessary IMO.
