Thanks Matt and can’t wait to see your new bike

That would be fun! Hopefully I’ll be able to drive my truck at that point

    Lol that could work…

And definitely need to start small, first goal is riding my mountain bike. Then a little dirt bike or Grom.

I don’t want to put my wife through this again. But hard to imagine giving it up, riding is my passion and really part of my identity…so many factors to consider.

Are you trying to take away David’s excuse for a ride? The nerve!

Let me know if you decide to do this, I could be in for a ride. Sunday is better for me as I really need to mount 2 new tires on Saturday. My front tire is about done right now, wear bars are now flush with remaining tread.

I truly appreciate it and would love to see you guys rolling through on the motorbikes but I should probably take it easy this weekend and relax before the surgery. Also been so stressful playing catch up with everything. Hopefully soon though. It’s gonna be rough having both hands casted up next week

It's tough getting back on following something like that. After my g/f and I got hit back in 2019 I wasn't sure how she would feel about riding again even though I knew I was getting back on. Don't feel like you have to rush and should you decide it's time to stop I don't think anyone will look at you any differently. I have a few friends no longer riding on the street but still ride just doing track days.

Thank you I can't wait. Looking forward to a new ride. Didn't realize when I put the order in for the exhaust it's 4 to 6weeks wait time. But kinda works out. Since I won't be getting the bike for another 2 weeks.
    Correction 3 weeks.

Thanks man I’m feeling really fortunate. Also glad you didn’t go down the other day.

I just got back from the doctor appointment and he was surprised to see me walking in without a crutch. Said I’m doing really well. Got to see an X-ray of the rod in my leg - crazy it starts at my hip all the way down to my knee.

He also mentioned he worked on multiple people that weekend involved in motorcycle accidents that were much worse and are still in the hospital. So lucky I’m up on my feet this quickly and was able to make progress at rehab. Still have a ways to go but happy to know I’ll get through this and be back to mostly normal at some point.
