The flop down passenger foot pegs were always cool to me for some reason. That little scooter made me realize ladies dig bikes....not matter how "dorky" they are

So you identify as bike-curious? LOL. I can accept that.

One of the best things about my years spent working for a dealership, even part time, was the ability to get to ride SO many different bikes. I couldn't even remember them all if I had to. Put a bunch of miles on the Excelsior Henderson when it came out, almost everything Buell ever produced up to the Rotax powered stuff, almost every model of Harley Davidson up until 2014 or so, Triumph from 1997-around 2009 amybe, plus tons of used stuff that got traded in.

What's the service interval on the AT? I'm thinking it'll be gone before the first valve check.

Bright side is you should just be able to un bead it and not have to get one of the sides over the rim again to replace the tube. Did you have the tube slightly inflated to a couple psi when you were spooning the tire back on? That's always helped me to avoid pinches.

Yes i did that. I even tried to debead it, and reseat, because I figured out how to mount the tire without killing my strength. But it didnt work. Still have small bubbles coming from the one spoke next to the stem :mad:

pissed because so much work learning it and trying to be careful.

Excelsior Henderson! That's a name I haven't seen in a LONGGGGG time. Wild front forks on those things.

Pretty sure the heat cooked my battery. Installed last February. I've been parking it under a cover in the driveway since it's riding season. Big heatwave came through and I was out of town for a bit. Drag Specialties battery from JP Cycles. What battery do y'all recommend for a 1200 Harley motor?

They were actually pretty fun to ride too. No fork compression under hard braking which was nice. I even bought some stock during the IPO. Fortunately I asked for the paper certificate which I have hanging in my rec room cause the company went under within only a few short years. Friend of mine still has his that he bought new in 98 or 99.

Drop bracket lift and booger welds
IIRC when the bead seats, as the tube expands the air between the tube and tire needs to go somewhere so it squeezes out of the spokes. I think that happened when I did my DRZ. Could be wrong? Is it holding pressure over time?
