Two peas in a pod buddy
Always loved the wagons. Pretty much every generation. When I was shopping around for the WRX, I almost got the last generation of hatch, but then decided I'd rather have a new untouched one than a modded one that IDK how it's been driven/taken care of. Subaru really dropped the ball cancelling the hatch. And again with the newest redesign but lets not talk about that.

On a side note, I've noticed a lot of tacoma owners on this forum and that I've met in real life, owned a WRX previously, or still do lol.

Yeah makes sense. I also think they are modification geared, and both are very mod-friendly vehicles.

Gorgeous blob-eye. Surprised you didn't go for gold wheels lol. Seems this is a recurring issue for you...

It wasnt new. I traded my Element for it, and that had gold wheels! :duel:

the PO had green plastidip stock wheels, and I got whatever I could when getting rid of the green ones.

And then after the WRX I had another Element, and a 1st gen regular cab 2wd taco, before getting into current truck.

World rally blue, another nice color  I was working at a Subaru dealer when the 2002 models first came out. Loved them ever since. This was our old '08

My parents have had 3. 84 GL wagon, 95 Legacy LSi wagon, and an 03 Outback. That 84 had 500k miles and dealership maintained. The dealer actually refused to work on it because the frame rusted and they were scared it would break in half on the lift. My parents sold it to a friend for $1, and then went to buy the Legacy. Had that for 400k miles too.

Have you guys seen the Rizoma Stealth Mirrors that they're making for sportbikes now? Love the design and how they look, but $470 is one hell of a steep price for side mirrors...

So I went with the $100 ebay special, and installed them last night. Can't complain about em, field of view horizontally is improved but much slimmer vertically, as expected. Looks miles better than the stock mirrors. No clue if the downforce claim made by rizoma applies to these ebay mirrors, but i don't care all that much as I don't track (yet)
