The x-pot pot has a metal plate as a base so yes. A little pricey, but this is a good set that covers all the bases.

You cannot, but they do sell a cheap little adapter that clicks into the camlock the jetboil cup uses and makes it a 3 prong stove. Downside is it doesn't fold like a normal 3 prong stove so you have this awkward jagged assembly to pack. Realistically, you either have to embrace the cup system, or a 3 prong system, but trying to make the jetboil cup system do the other isn't ideal.

The 3 prong pocket rocket design is much easier to drop a pot or a flat pan on top and make work for multiple circumstances.

 

if I remember before I pack for my camping trip ill lay all my BS for a pic. I've been enough times where I think I've got it whittled down to ...enough stuff to be comfortable, but nothing really unnecessary.
