Nice! I wish I could do body work, but then I'd be too scared to use the truck as a truck. As much as I like the X-Runner I can't part with my '91!

Ooh lifted 4WD? Love those! I really want 4WD fenders and corner lights for my truck but I've been too lazy to swap.

Wow, haven't seen a lowered double cab before! That looks amazing (and the space looks nice - my regular cab is so tiny inside).

not lifted no lol but yes 4wd i cranked on the torsion bars a tiny bit to level it and then put 33" kos on it with sr5 wheels from a early 90s 4runner
sold the truck when i got my tacoma years back and havent seen it since sadly...

is it easy to find the fenders? back when i had my truck it was damn near impossible to find anything for it!

It was a really cool truck, drove it everywhere and we went to lots of shows together.

This was my 99 S-10 it was bagged with 4-link rear suspension and step notched frame. Had an Oldsmobile Bravada front end, shaved door handles and lots of other mods

How come none of these lowered trucks have a motorcycle in the bed? Seems like easy access

I bumped the idle up a bit and it helped a lot! Issue now is it stinks so badly because its sooo rich. I need to pull the carb to drill the cap out for sure.

I just bought some oil for it and ordered a magnetic drain plug. I will do the oil change Sunday. Previous owner has never changed the oil so figured I’d do it now.

This thing is so fun too. It’s the perfect parts store runner since I live about half a mile from O Reillys and I can throw the parts in the trunk compartment.

Don't panic if you seem some gasket maker in the oil strainer. Seems like most have had it in there at the first oil change. I did mine around 200 miles because why the hell not. Especially when it takes less than a quart and doesn't have a proper filter.

Oh, and if you're looking for a cheap mod to dip your toes with it then look into roller weights. I went down to 13g and it was an instant difference on take-off acceleration. Some go down to as low as 11g.

Weather forecast for tomorrow sounds crappy and besides I have a vintage bike show/swap meet I want to attend so I went mural hunting today.

My count is up to 52 so far thanks to unusually nice January temps. I suspect next month we'll get hit and that'll slow me down.

So I just added the Navi to my insurance and my policy decreased by $1.42. Maybe it's a multi-vehicle discount since I added it to my Versys' policy?

 Sounds about right, mine only went up $1.80 or something stupid like that. Progressive wouldn't even let me pay the difference it was so small
