I lay them on top of my tonneau cover in a dark garbage bag. Too cold right now so that wouldn't work. I had hoped to get a few more weeks out of these but that wasn't happening.

Welllll, another order of grom parts is in.. yoshimura turn signal adapter plates, Amazon running lights/turn signals, flasher relay, turn signal wiring adapters (damn mini plug things..), and a new cover for the stock airbox.. 90% doing that one for the looks haha I have no plans to re-tune the ECU anytime soon to actually take advantage of the gains. At least not until an exhaust goes on too.

Not really. A couple wheels from Rally Raid is the same as a full set of SCS wheels for my Tundra.

Beautiful bike, and pics! Similar list to what I'd do to my bike. Very Tasteful. If I were more experienced I'd definitely be eyeing the Africa Twin.

I know he's good and giving good advice, but I kinda cursed internally a minute into the video. "I'm completely vertical... You know, like, it's not that hard." Super easy for the guy that's tall enough to flat foot a Tenere. For a short rider keeping it completely vertical at low speed IS hard. It's one of those things that gets glossed over all the time in these. It's always some 6 foot+ guy giving tips from the perspective of being tall and saying how easy it is. Seems like he has no idea what it's like to try the same turn around with that dip on a bike he barely touches toes on, and if it's not in his personal book of challenges "it's not that hard."

I changed my AT seat to the high position, and when Im wearing boots, I can flat foot it. I think if Im just moving it around in the garage, Im just barely off of flat footing it with crocs on.

Seat height according to google is: 34.3 in. / 33.7 in.

    Lucky bastard. LOL

Part of why I'm attracted to the little Halfrica Twin is because I'm only 5'6" and it's 32.8" seat height will be more manageable.

Usually my issue is my knees are too bent because my legs are too long lol. I want a taller seat on almost everything I own.

I hit 500 miles on the Navi today!

    upload_2023-2-12_17-36-9.jpg

And then I jumped the Navi over a little curb and the seat popped off. Maybe I didn't put it back on correctly lol.

Yeah, I'm eyeing Knight Designs lowering pegs for the CB500X to be able to be stretched out a bit and I have read they move the pegs slightly forward for better standing posture as well. Lots of people do that and get bar risers. Not sure I'll need risers, and I don't plan to change the pegs for a bit either. The stuff I would like right out of the gate is heated grips, crash bars, and tires.

The juxtaposition of you talking about stuff being too low on seat height and celebrating your 500 miles on a Navi is hilarious!:rofl::rofl: We need pics of you on it.

I hope you don’t actually ride dressed like that. A guy rode into the dealership while I was there Saturday wearing hey dude type slip ons and all I could see was an ankle turned inside out and backwards after a crash.

I don't ride in those sneakers, I wear these:

I will admit I don't wear any other gear though... probably not the best idea. On the Versys I wear my full Aerostich and airbag vest but on the Navi I throw on the helmet, boots and thin gloves and go for convenience.

Oh, wow. That's quite a bit larger than I thought. I thought they were tiny.

Yep! They're pretty reasonably sized. I'm 6'3" with a 36" inseam for reference.
