Even though I haven't rode it in a week, I still like to have it. Bust still planning on that Harley next year.

I am selling my "project bike". $500 delivered. Needs a couple small things

Nice! I was mostly joking, it would probably cost almost $500 to get a bike from VA to AZ

Ok DRZ400 guys I'm thinking about putting some more $ into my bike on unnecessary things my throttle tube sticks every once in a while and I'm tired of my clutch lever hitting my knuckle when I try to shift with 2 fingers. I've already got DRC short levers, they just aren't short enough/my clutch disengages too late to not hit my knuckle. I think I might also upgrade my handlebars.

TLDR: What handlebars, grips, 2 finger clutch lever and throttle tube should I order?

Aluminum throttle tube with some sort of plastic/PTFE? bushing on the inside. G2 makes some but there are cheaper ones. If you dont have handgards that attach on the end of your bars then there's a throttle tube that has a ball bearing on the far end that I hear very good things about but you can't use it with anything on the ends of the bars.

I do have handguards, I'm not worried about having the best throttle tube, this one just gets a little hung up sometimes. I think the handguards might actually be part of the problem. Its not really an issue though.

Zeta tube, just cut the lever down, protaper bars, and whichever grips you enjoy (I'm still running stock waffles)

Buy the JD jet kit and thank me later

You can trim the lever down....they're only cheap ones anyway.

You should lube your cables since your bike is so old.

You should also make sure your handguards aren't hanging up on your throttle tube. When my bike falls over on the right side, the barkbusters almost always pin the throttle in place. Its annoying.

LOL I've thought about that. Or just rolling the dice. I have an older friend that didn't register his RV for like 10 years then got a $140 ticket. it like $100 a year to register so he saved $860.
