30 minutes and no pressure points/hot spots. Was pretty warm, but with airflow I think it'll be good. :)

Had a couple good beers tonight (currently a redhook tropical big ballard juicy ipa) and just dropped another $375 on grom parts :anonymous:

    - front and rear sprockets and 428 gold xring chain, converting from 420 to 428, going xring, and dropping a tooth in the front
    - speedo healer
    - tst industries captive chain adjuster w/ spools
    - fancy black nuts for $9
    - billet black wheel spacers
    - a $10 mnnthbx shirt

started with the sprocket set, then it snowballed and I figured it all kind of goes together and justified it that way

You install the front springs yet? Haven’t seen an update on your YouTube channel. Big thing I noticed when I was at the dealer was how spongy the front end felt. Imagine it’s a lot worse if you have to brake hard.

I’m waiting on the stupidest tiny thing to arrive for that.. a graduated cylinder to measure the new fluid haha should be here wednesday for possible install this weekend. This last weekend I went to four different stores looking for one with fine enough measurements to do it. Each leg only takes 235ml and the only ones I found were in 100ml increments. Might pull apart the F800GS instead though to get that up and going if the rekluse replacement comes in this week.

I rode the grom in after lunch today when it wasn’t frozen out and having the rear shock done but not the front made it SO much more noticeable how bad the front is.

Count me in for a group ride if you make it down to SoCal!

I don't get up to San Jose much, any more.

Just a reminder but there are still some tire rebates going on so if you need tires or will need tires this season you might want to buy now.

    https://www.advrider.com/metzeler-pirelli-offer-tire-rebates/

Link to more info regarding Pirelli and Metzler. Michelin tire rebate offer runs out the end of this month if that's your tire of choice.

I learned the Michelin offer is good for up to 3 pairs of tires per household. I bought one pair on March 1 and since my credit card billing cycle has passed ordered another pair last night. This gets me 2 x $60 rebate cards.

Nice, I’m glad you can enjoy the bike. I’d still be trying to stand up after that ride.

Ebay has 20% off tires as well from select sellers. I’m very tempted to get a set of Shinko 705s.

He'd probably also enjoy it more with the increased visibility from the "sticker delete" mod :D

I didn’t know it was a thing until my son bought one without any markings on it. All black. I was lost.

So you're the S.O.B. I get transferred to that "has to look it up" and then makes my ears bleed beating on the keyboard like a drum! :argue:

It hides my face without hiding the helmet for the pic. :p Plus, if I need RevZilla to take it back it has to have that sticker on it.
