I called my local dealer about the one they have. $2971 MSRP and they want $4500 OTD. Not worth it at that price for me.

Not sure what you are going to do for breathers on the rear drive and crank case. (I think you mentioned about getting something coming for those). But if you needed ideas, the rear drive you could grab a dirtbike fuel tank breather vent

and the crank case you could go with a small lil push in filter

Those lil push in filters are what I run on my dirtbike and grom to keep hot gases out of the intake air (as well as filtered air to the crank case - the WR450 had the crank case vent in the airbox before the filter for some reason). I typically keep the crank case vents on the bigger street bikes venting into the airbox (so long as its after the filter for clean air) to keep some vacuum to pull out water vapors etc for longevity of oil etc.

 

Time to load up the AT for camping this weekend. This is the 2nd to last weekend before I head out to Hancock, NY for the start of the NEBDR..

Next week I will swap the rear tire for the new Shinko 805 that I have. Also got a new tube and rim strip just in case.

I can't say I was surprised. I tried to buy a CRF300 Rally from them. MSRP of $6699(from Honda's site after destination/freight fee) and they wanted $8700 OTD.



I wonder how long til someone throws a CBR/CRF300 motor in one like they do with the Groms

Thanks for the links! I actually did order a fuel tank breather vent for the rear drive. I ordered a 12mm filter for the PCV. I’ll probably need to print another hose insert to plug into the line to have a more solid connection but it should work. The uni filter is way nicer but also 5x the cost.

I’ve also lost ~5 mph from the top end so I’m just going to throw some bigger jets in tomorrow.

 

Plenty of people have swapped in the cbr250-300 motors.

I just saw one of those earlier today at my Honda dealer. Was browsing the showroom while bike was getting an inspection. It's larger than I expected for an air cooled 150cc.
