I wasnt fond of how its one big piece. Wanted a couple smaller pieces, that can come together and make a team!

They have some like that too, but they are smaller. I think that's their Mojavi set. Besides, if you use the dry bags inside then it's multiple pieces in one package. I like the Coyote bag, but I imposed a rule. I am not allowed to buy any luggage beyond a tank bag until I install all the stuff I already bought for the bike, and I have to have at least 1000 miles on it.

They also have free pannier pockets with the purchase of a fandango tank bag, and free stainless steel GL Mounts with every $75+ purchase. Apparently they are discontinuing their orange gear as well, so if you want that color now is the time to get it.

I put another 20 miles on the Navi today and the new weights are awesome. The acceleration feels so much better and I hit 54 mph on the way home today. Maybe it’s a slight downhill or the warmer weather helped but top speed doesn’t seem too affected.

anyways, I don’t think it’s worth upgrading to a Grom. Groms are all $3k+ even used, which just doesn’t make sense for me. I paid $3200 for my Versys that I’ve ridden everywhere. A limited use Grom for more than that is just a hard sell for me.

Even with getting to modify and “build” my Navi (which is the part I enjoy the most) I’m still well under $2k for it, which would buy me half a Grom… plus insurance and gas are so cheap.

My condolences on your loss. I've found losing a pet to be one of the hardest things for me to deal with personally. I hope your weather clears so you can get out and clear your mind. Stay safe.

Yeah, it's not an easy thing. As for the weather, me too. I'm hoping I can get it through the first oil change by the end of July. We'll see.

Next step is to run 12v back to the inside of the box to charge devices while riding. Triumph offered it a few years back on their accessory top box with quick disconnect. As soon as you locked down the trunk to the base plate it had voltage to a charge port inside the trunk for phones, tablets, etc.

We're at 12 straight days of zero precipitation here. Grass is turning brown. Been on the bike for 20 straight days so far, Tacoma hasn't moved in 3 weeks or more.

Damn. That's some parched weather for that area, isn't it? We have a low pressure system that keeps circling around, and as much as I complain about the rain, it is needed for the drought we've been in. I'd love to see our lakes and reservoirs gain for the next couple years instead of dwindling.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I hate to hear that about you pup. My dog means everything to me and I am sorry for your loss. Just sucks
