Just bought this. 2022 Grom 780 miles 4K cash. Super clean adult owned. Going to ride it home later tonight. Oh and yes this is a Toyota guy. Never met him before but has a couple nice rigs.

Chain cleaned, lubed, everything torqued. Maybe i can break in the tire this weekend, but it might rain. Oil change maybe this weekend..

Im happy with the build though.

GUESS WHAT SHOWED UP IN THE MAIL TODAY. My replacement Rekluse! Originally emailed them early March, got a call like two weeks later and talked with an engineer who said yeah, I'll cover that under warranty and said he'd ship me out a manual instead of another auto clutch. Never heard anything again, sent two more emails between then and last week, finally got a "whoops, guess we dropped the ball, I'll send one out tomorrow" on Wednesday and it was on my doorstep today.

But, they sent another auto instead of the manual pack. Oh well, still a brand new $850 clutch setup I got as a warranty replacement five years after I bought the original, woo!

 

Anyone here had an SV650 and a Ninja 650?

Torque difference felt?

Wife is torn between a dual sport and a sport bike for her next foray, whatever she gets I’ll get the same to spend time helping her get better. She is looking at the Ninja 400 so I figured I’d give the 650 a try if she likes the test ride. None local to me to ride currently.
