    Fo-fitty!!!!

Decided instead of rebuild money I could use it to go towards this and have a brand new larger bike with efi. Sell the 250 and use that money as well

Taking this racing thing pretty seriously I guess.

Interested to see how it's gonna be for you to have a yz450 for racing and then back to the DRZ for street haha

Yeah I am. I'm not that good but I want to be and it's just fun as hell.

Seriously go try to find a track day or something. We had 3 new people from KC join us this weekend and everyone one of them said they'll be coming back out next season.

I already don't want to go back to it after riding the YZ250f. I rode a yz450f and kx450 this weekend anyways so I already know how bad it will be. Lol

    Awesome. How did you find a left-over 15? I couldn't even find a leftover 16 YZ125.

I just went on Yamaha's website and searched dealers with 450s. Then went on the dealer site and saw it.

Thanks! I'm pretty excited again, it was a real bummer when the the motor locked. Sucks to lose money but pay to play.

I need to install the hour meter I bought and figure out a skid for this weekend dirt riding/break in. Then I'll make sure my SM wheels/beringer fit.

Very cool. Was your one that siezed the 2010? I had a '10 YZ250F also. Cool bike. I'm shocked it went on you, unless you had a ton of hours.

Also, forgive me if you already know his but just a heads up. If you were planning on getting a GYTR tuner for your new one, it has a built in hour meter. So as long as you dont reset the counter (which is possible if you want to) then you can keep track of the hours through that. That is what I do. So you could return the other meter and save some $

Yea the seized one is a 2010. It's something it the bottom end but I'm going to have to order a flywheel puller before I can continue disassembling. It had been rebuilt before as well though.

I didn't get the gytr tuner

I debated. May pick it up later but currently I won't be needing it

    I'm debating trading my DRZ for a 2005 yz250.

My drz is an 03 with 6k miles. It's super clean all stock drive train with some extras like hand guards and larger foot pegs.
