I suppose I should post pics of the bikes I claim I have
The yellow ninja is the one that went to my buddy, the red one is the current project for me. Scored them both for $250 each.

Not on there, but here's a video. Basically a small Italian dirtbike/minibike. Which is right up my alley, but my motorcycle budget is zero

Well picked up my rental for my drive to Oregon tomorrow. I rented what I thought was going to be a Toyota Corolla. The guy asked if I had people going with and I said no I will be alone. He said you want to drive a brand new 4cyl Camaro? I said 4cyl? He said yes it’s a turbo 4 cyl. So I did. This thing is surprisingly fast. It puts you back in the seat when you hit it. I don’t like anything else about it. The front seat is too narrow, front windshield is small, rear window is hard to see out of and damn the blind spot is huge. So far it’s getting real good fuel mileage.

I went to Colorado a few months ago and he upgraded me from the same small car class to a new Ram 1500. I hated everything about it except the fuel mileage and hp

As @BkerChuck Mentioned. not really but kinda. They share essentially the same final drive shaft drive setup (hell final drive gear box and i think even swing arm as interchangeable). Similar electronic suspension stuffs, just taller on the tenere.

Motor is 100% different. Tenere = parallel twin 1200cc and FJR in an inline 4 1300... that inline 4 1300 of the FJR is probably one of the smoothest most usable sneaky power I have ever ridden on a motorcycle, its simply impressive. The tenere makes some good power and torque, but you know its working, it aint a sewing machine like the FJR.

Nice. I’m doing the same with an old iphone. Loaded a crap load of maps, USGS Quads, and topo’s. Now I just have to figure out how I want to mount it and with what.

I not to sure on it yet. My Daughter and her boyfriend picked up a damaged Ninja 600/650 or what ever last week. The hitch he was using must be an older version (it’s ridged and doesn’t bend/twist at the hitch like the above pic.).

Short of the long…. The bike flopped after a turn or two. Wifey got the phone call, and we went and recovered them with my landscape trailer, after finishing dinner.

Her boyfriend got the bike for $500. And there plan is to go through it and fix it up for my kiddo.

    Thats effing beautiful!

    Been using this

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09L72CQQN?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Solid mounts, customizable size, easy to get the phone in and out but really grabs it well and doesnt move once clamped. Vibration dampening, and no need for a fancy different case on your phone. (Also has a gopro mount if you so desired)
