How far are you from the Cleveland/Cohutta Wilderness area? I'm planning to take close to a month off in March/April to camp. Planned to bring the bike with me.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    About 4hrs from me. Let’s roll :)

@Built2Ride if your tenant's place is hit daily, hire security to spook them off. It's dangerous to let them go unchallenged because they may be emboldened and thats dangerous for the resident..

I'm surprised the police won't take the easy target, but idk if they do the same catch and release stupidity that othat places are doing.

So I came across this on FB Marketplace and TBH I need it like I need another colonoscopy but unlike the colonoscopy I'd really like to have this. 1989 Yamaha FJ1200 with under 20k miles. I used to own a 1985 Yamaha FJ1100 and I've kicked myself repeatedly for ever having sold it. I messaged the seller asking for some more pics to show the left side of the bike and asked a few questions. That was 2 days ago and still no reply. Unsure if I want to be pissed about it or just disappointed that I might miss out on it.

Went riding with some friends today and my exhaust gutted itself. I heard my bike get a lot louder and a ton of laughing through the headset as my friends watched my bike eject the contents of its exhaust onto the road.

For those looking to save some weight and need some good cranking amps the NOCO NLP14 is on sale right now on Amazon

    https://www.amazon.com/NOCO-NLP14-Powersport-Motorcycles-Snowmobiles/dp/B091P9QXX7

Actually looking at it, looks like all of their powersports batteries are on sale at some of the best prices they have ever been according to amazon. From Grom sized to stuff that would put a battery in our trucks to shame.

I have had the NLP14 in my Tenere for almost a year with zero issues and it cranks WAAAY better than even a fresh fully lead acid battery of the biggest size that would fit. (The super tenere is a notorious hard / slow starting bike)... The NLP14 cranks over my truck as good as a full size lead acid battery.

I want to like them, and they have their place. But my dual has 30hp and highways feel strung out, I cant imagine 20 hp is great on those things loaded up.

Agreed. The power plant is lacking. Probably why gently used ones go for around $4,500.

It's ear splittingly loud without ear plugs. My Apple watch actually instantly gave me a loud noise notification as well.

I'm trying to decide if I should spend ~$100 on a "damaged" system, or an exhaust that has been welded together, or spend ~$200-250 on a nicer OEM exhaust or a Delkevic, or $400 on an Arrow...

Upon further research, the Arrow might hit my center stand...

I just don't want to pay $200 for this:

Unless you care about vanity, sound, and performance (no offense but a Versys isn't any of those things), the stocker doesn't look bad on that bike at all.

Worth a phone call. Arrow doesn’t look any bigger than stock.

I liked how my exhaust sounded but main issue for me is spending $200 on a ratty looking muffler vs ideally ~$300 for a new aftermarket one.

Shh don’t tell him that! But you are right, that is one of the nicer looking stock exhausts.
