All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Like a tractor. Built for a goat trail, and to stack a bunch of cane sugar on :) Neat little bikes.
    Thanks brutha! Brappp

If I wear earplugs when I ride Offroad, my head overheats :( I am amazed at how much hot air comes out of me!

Yep, don't ride without ear plugs. I also have the Freecom 4x and Packtalk and the DMC (Dynamic Mesh Communication) on the Packtalk is SO much better than struggling with Bluetooth.

I can't ride with music playing. Last time I did that I was in the middle of passing four vehicles and thought to myself "why are they going so slow?" Then I looked down and saw over a buck and realized they weren't going slow.

I feel like the only reason I need them is wind noise on the street so usually I wear earplugs for the 30 min ride to the trails and then take them out at the trail head.

I don't ride with music either for that reason but I will put on a podcast as background noise. I end up not really listening to it but it's nice to have a change over just straight wind noise.

I can do music, but I 100% can't do my favorite podcasts while riding. I get mentally engaged with them and I have a noticeable loss of awareness that I don't find safe for me.

But I do have to avoid things like AC/DC and Free Bird for the sake of everyone's safety :bikewheelie2:

It really depends on the kind of riding for me - spirited riding needs to be completely quiet for me to focus, while a long ride needs some sort of background noise like a podcast that I don't really care about to keep my mind from wandering.

Totally agree. But I'll be cruising along with my fave podcast (All-in), get fixated on the topic [e.g. fed funds rates, and FAANG companies extending their runway in inflationary times] then a corolla pulls out and suddenly I have a visitor in my lane. I gotta stick to non-discussion stuff.

Edit: Here's my riding playlists, enjoy my terrible taste in music with concerning variety.

I'm glad used bike prices are starting to return to normal.. just saw this on FB marketplace and thought "huh, that's actually reasonable" for the first time in a long time.

Except for the requirement of Facebook to buy. These social media sign-up pushes are getting ridiculous. :tinfoilhat:

Meh, I get it. I pretty much only use my facebook for marketplace anymore. In my area no one uses Craigslist, so if you want to sell something you pretty much have to use FB. Sold a couch on it last week and the first two responses were spam asking for my cell phone number. If I'm selling on there I'm only communicating on FB messenger and only if they look like a real person (have posts, have more than 1 profile pic, etc). Easy way to weed out spam/scams.

Ditto, five scam attempts in the last two days for the chipper I'm trying to sell.

A squid cherry picking the trail for the click factor, the parts he shows you can get a stock 4x4 tacoma up easily. he's not riding any of the cruxes and there's allot of the trail he doesn't show because an R6 doesn't have the ground clearance needed to clear an 8" step or boulder or drop off a 3' ledge. Slickrock by itself is about as good as it gets tractionwise.

I've ridden that trail and the others near it allot on motos, the parts he's in are very mellow compared to the serious cruxes that are out on HR.
