If you're doing multiple days in a row, bring more clothes than you think, any extra parts (rear sets, levers, oil, etc), stands, shade

I think she’s stopped and posing for a photo, her right leg acting like a kickstand. By the looks of her she may even be a badass rider, all we can do is speculate and spectate.:)

Pricer than others, but wanted protection for the dog bone. Others do not have it

Taking my 2014 BMW S1000RR for this first ever track venture haha. Even as high mileage as it is, it’s been perfect to me and I wanna put it through its paces at least a few times

Cool cool. I've done over a hundred track days and coached hundreds of new riders. Don't be afraid to ask a control rider for guidance, there are no trophies so don't push yourself too much. It's a small technical track so don't be surprised when little bikes/girls/kids pass you like you're stopped. Hydrate heavily the day or two BEFORE

    What tires are you running?

yeah I’m fully prepared to be humbled lol. My buddy says there’s two types of riders…those who haven’t been to the track yet, and those who have been lapped by a 10yo.

I plan on taking it relatively easy since I commute on this bike. Currently running a road 6 rear and a Dunlop Q5s front which isn’t ideal but as it’s my first time I figure I won’t be outriding the rear much if at all?

The road 6 isn't gonna do you a whole lot of favors, but it's capable on the track, my buddy used them just fine. The Q5S fronts have been getting a lot of reviews that they wear out super quick and cup on the sides. Your front should be about 32psi cold, keep an eye on it, bring extra cash in case you need tires. Track days are abusive

yup definitely planning on bringing some cash for tires if needed. Good tips too, I’ll make a note of the PSI

Nice! Hard to wrong with the Honda CB500 line up. Proven engine, great mileage, and enough power to have fun. I might be slightly biased. :anonymous:

Check cycletrader/marketplace and see if there are any to go check out. It'll at least give you a feel for them

That's how I found this one. No others close to where I'll be, because I'm traveling to visit a buddy.
