All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

I've been following her since I bought my little Rally. Even went back and watch the Himalayan and CB500X seasons.

I can't wait to see how the new 450 does. If they follow other RE's, a used one should be reasonably priced.

I would really like to find a cheap Continental GT and throw some fairings on it. Love the old school look/feel of this bike

I like the spoked rims. Something about those. I wish more bikes had them. I agree with you, that's pretty bad ass bike.

Right behind the seat on the rear fender. It uses the factory bolts.
There's just something about the oldschool look for me.

I built a set for a super moto I was working on years ago. Wish I had pics to show you. They looked great. It's not really that hard to do. Just need a stand, but I would set the wheel up on my coffee table and put the spokes in while I would watch a movie or something.

I really like the 900s. As a fan of Kawasaki Retro models I like that they incorporated allot of modern tech in the 900 and didn't make it a heavy beast. Not so much in the ZRX I owned, looks cool but it was dated before it rolled off the assy line.

I agree that spoked rims do look nice but I much prefer tubeless tires for the kind of riding I like to do. Something to be said for easy roadside repair using a tire plug instead of having to pull the wheel to swap out a tube alongside the road.

Took me a few try's to get the seal to hold. Can't rember what I used. I think I put tape over each spoke hole and then covered it with some kinda caulk.

Usually it's the opposite. Sikaflex or something over the nipples and then a thick wide tape over top of everything and then use a roller to seal it all down. I think Outex has one of the more popular kits for it but it can be done cheaper piecing together yourself: https://woodyswheelworks.com/products/outex-tubeless-kit

I didn't realize my bike had been converted to tubeless until my second tire change, first one I did myself. It still had a tube in it so I'm guessing it failed at some point and they didn't bother removing or fixing.

I'm still infatuated with the Velocity Moto kit for the XSR900. If I had an extra $15k sitting around I'd get one.

Looks awesome. Anything "vintage" on bikes and I'm hooked.
