Loving it. It’s funny you posted that 450sm. I have been tempted on that or the rc390 as of late.

Dang. KYB suspension too. not bad!

13:1 comp ratio, 95 hp @ 9000 and 60ftlbs @ 7500 rpms makes for a rather high strung motor tho. Premium fuel will likely be absolutely necessary. Tho thats kind of a norm in the 800ish cc bike realm to be more high strung.

I don't know much about midsize/bigger bikes. I enjoy them, but don't really have a use for one. I prefer the smaller/lighter bikes at this point in life. Now if I were putting a shit ton of highway miles in.....different story. I like the little scooters  If I ever did get one, it'd definitely be just a "highway" bike for me.

Smart choice. The Tractionator will be a good purchase as well. I have rolled that tire for years, and I believe the compound has only gotten better. Could just be me though ;)

Plugging along at my Honda DIO scooter refreshing. Both are up and running (fuel systems on both needed massive cleaning). Now just cleaning and buttoning back up.

Sun faded plastics + a heat gun makes things look AWESOME. The plastic pictured had been washed of dirt, literally the only difference between the white and dark purple area is a passing over with a heatgun.

i feel this summer imma look for a used ktm enduro 150-250 2 stroke so i can do more trail stuff with a better bike thats setup for it. id look at the Japanese bikes but none of the 2 strokes have headlights only the heavier models have them... unless you guys have any other ideas on what would be a good trail enduro. i would like to plate it so i can use it for a little bit of street if needed like going to Co again.

Hard to say. I looks like so many wheel from the late 90s-mid 2000. I had wheels on my sv1000 that looked almost identical.

If you wanna ride it on the road check out a 350 my man. More power to get down the street and still as nimble as a 250.
The 2 strokes are killer for attacking the woods. The power is relentless and it is easier to carve thru the trees on. But when you get out and try connecting roads to trials, it’s best to stay with a 4banger.

Oh course I am bias on KTM and Husky, mainly because I have been in the game so long that suspension is my top most priority and then power.
Honda and Yamaha also make a CRF and WR that come with lights and signals…those usually get broken off quickly, but you can Tag them.
A 2 stroke can be difficult to tag in some states.

You got any buddies that ride Offroad as well? It’s always good to roll in pairs.
