I literally just had some smaller LED pods with yellow lenses show up yesterday and plan on putting them in the same spot. What mounts did you use?

EDIT - I bought some clamp on bar mounts awhile back but didnt like their size and how far they stuck out, I might just end up welding on some tabs to the crash bars.

So interestingly, I'm doing the exact same thing. Yamaha has an auxiliary plug as @nd4spdbh mentioned, but I don't have the other side of that plug, so while that is ordered and coming in, I'm going to just to tap off of another circuit at the fuse box and ground to the battery, and when the plug comes in I will undo the battery/fuse box side wiring. I just want lights for the commute this week.

Thanks!! I love the color too, main reason I bought it over a local one. :D

The duck is attached to the light BTW. It has elastic bands that keep it on! Have had it on the Versys for a few thousand miles already.

These are the ones I'm using.

Man... I love brown. It looks so good.

I refuse to ride a black motorcycle anymore. After seeing how many times I almost got plastered on my all black CB1000R, I will never own a black motorcycle again.

Am I seeing right, the duck is wearing aviators and a Gary the Snail helmet?

Yep! It also had a propeller on top of the helmet but that flew off on the highway.

Oh yeah! In all my excitement with the S10 this weekend, I forgot to mention that my Iron Butt ride from October was accepted! I just paid the fees to get the certificate and patch. Super excited.

I also put the Iron Butt plate frame on the S10, and stuck a ton of reflective stickers on the panniers. I just need to finish an IB ride on this bike to really earn the plate frame. :D

That brown when seen in person in the sunlight is awesome. Seems like it was only offered in Canada as I haven't even seen any European photos of it. We have a few Canadian forum members that come south for some of the meets I attend so I've been lucky enough to actually see it up close.

I'm assuming buying the fairings would probably cost more than a bike? :(

Anyone on here wear size 12-1/2 or Euro size 48 boots? Neighbor just texted me and his inlaws had a pair of brand new in box Alpinestars SMX-1 R V2 in Black/Red show up on their porch recently and these people don't even ride so they figure it was likely some scammer. Revzilla shows them at almost $180 they're hoping to get $100 plus shipping.

Maybe not but it would be a stack of cash. Saddlebags alone might be over $1200

Glad to hear your head is feeling better! Hope it's staying that way lol

Don't look at the price for the BMW M1000RR lol.

I'd be careful with vinyl wrap, motorcycle fairings have a lot more edges and lines/curves to factor in. combine that with exposure to the elements and heat coming off the engine, I've heard it doesn't hold up too well.

But it would look fkn awesome

congrats on the new motorcycle @but why tho! Not typically a huge fan of yellow but that Yamaha yellow in that anniversary livery always looks good! Definitely better than black that's for sure.

I'd own a black bike if it was matte/satin only...which is probably even less safe but at that point you're getting it for looks not safety. Personally white bikes with some color are my jam.

My F800GS has been wrapped for five or six years with no issues. It was a pain in the ass and took a ton of time, but has held up amazingly well. Curves are hard, for sure.

The kicker of it is that the Super Tenere has had several colors, but for the last few years it's just dark grey or black. They change the color of the stickers on it, and they got rid of the gold forks after '21 IIRC. It's had so many good colors though.
