Fair enough, that's just what i've heard from a couple companies i've reached out to as well as from my brother who used to have his bike wrapped. But his was wrapped years ago so i'm sure the tech has improved.

man all such good looking bikes lol. Something about Yamaha's blue that just resonates with me. But ultimately I'd still pick the white Tenere with the red anniversary striping lol

The red is the same as my FJR1300 and while I really do love that color that Kenny Roberts, Yellow/White/Black livery is for me at least, the absolute best color scheme for a Yamaha. It's just such a classic color scheme no matter what they put it on.

I love the red, the dark blue (I think that's the yamaha blue), the white, and the silver, though I think I've seen the silver with more black accents. Just didn't get a pic of one, or I'm remembering wrong.

Normally not a huge fan of silver but that one is nice. The red is nice too but a bit too loud for my tastes with that much red.

Biased for good reason. The red looks so sexy on the ST.

Post up some glamor shots of yours. We need a post full of pics!

@nd4spdbh because you are experienced with the bike, how hard would you say it is/would be to pull the tank and the two upper side plastics like what is red in that bike I posted? If it's not terrible, I might consider pulling them for a repaint or wrap if/when I get one.

The blue is such a nice accent on the silver, and they even did a bit of blue on the side of the seat.

Don't get me wrong, I love red lol. I just don't like too much attention lol. Yours is beautiful as well, we have matching wheel stripes!

Agreed. At first I was skeptical of the blue on the seat then saw your second pic with someone sitting on it and it looked great.

Ah, see, I want all the attention when I'm riding. I don't do squid stuff, and the more noticed I am the less likely I am to have some goober run me over or pull out in front of me.

yeah nothing wrong with that. I ride with the mindset that I'm always invisible, attention grabbing colors/lights/exhaust or not.

I can get the fairings / tank off in under 20 min.

Access cover on throttle side - 4 1/4 turn 4mm allen head, then 4 4mm allen head bolts and 2 plastic push pins and off comes the colored throttle side panel.
Clutch side - 5 4mm allen head bolts and 2 plastic push pins
Tank is 2 upper and one lower bolt - 2 electrical connectors and 1 fuel line on the bottom and a vent/drain line.

I try to keep that mindset as well. It's your best defense, and that was true even before the phones took over.

I know the access panels on the side come off easy for the radiator and the battery/tool, but the upper panels do too?

Radiator side colored top part and bottom black part are all "one piece" that comes off with 5 bolt an 2 plastic pin removal (then the top and bottom panel are held together by a few screws on the insdie)

The top panel on the electrical (throttle side) is fully exposed once the electrical 1/4 turn bolt access panel is removed. then pops off with 4 bolts and 2 plastic push pins.

Needless to say there really isnt much holding on the body work of the super tenere!

That's freakin' great! Thank you! That means a repaint or wrap wouldn't be too bad. I could pull them myself and do prep, then get it sprayed.

What do you think of a F8 Green Super Tenere?
