I’d murder for 25/20. Im currently 20/750 ish. -7.5 in one eye and I think -7.25 in the other for contacts. I can’t see shit without glasses or contacts. Literally can’t read the giant “E” or really anything further away than a couple inches. That plus some fun astigmatism making starbursts at night. I’ve been debating lasik but with kid on the way now it’ll probably be a few more years still.

I couldn't see farther than maybe a few inches from my right eye it was so cloudy. I can't recommend the cataract surgery enough. I was pissed about the $1700 out of pocket toric lens(my thought is since I work at the hospital and they basically force us to use them....then we shouldn't have such high out of pocket expenses) .....but now......I'll do it again for my left once it's time.

    minor tweaks
My riding buddy had a detached retina (left eye) about 7mos ago, it was 3mos before he could drive then that eye needed cataract operation following the retina attachment, apparently cataracts can develop quickly when your eye is tore up from a detached retina. He finally got to where he could drive again but the vision in that eye still sucks enough that he can't see well enough to ride a motorcycle safely, as part of that whole ordeal that eye now stays dilated, very little adjustment in his pupil for bright light.

To add insult to injury, yesterday his retina detached in his right eye, emergency surgery etc etc etc. This has totally changed his life.

It's easy to take our health for granted.

I'm thanful the good Lord was watching out for me with this surgery. Mine went exceptionally well....or so I think. Luckily my left compensated enough for my right eye and it was never an "emergency" situation.

Man, I’ve bought a bike and the tank bag you suggested! My wallet has taken a beating. :p

I installed the tank protection and tank bag last night. I did have to ride in the rain to work today so I’ll try to hit the tank protection with some more heat tonight to really stick it down.

Yeah, that and LASIK will take you out for about a week, much easier to do it before any kids running around.

That just looks like it'd be a dream to ride on long trips.

As a fellow Grom owner I am sad it’s likely going, but also understand as they’re fairly limited use bikes and if I had to it would be the first to go out of my garage.

Thanks! Need to get fluids replaced and then I’m good to go!

Thanks! I’m going to refer to it as my school bus haha.

Looking sharp. How was the mounting of that bag?

Mounting the base itself was fairly easy. I have some initial thoughts about the bag but am going to give it a week or so and maybe make a YouTube video about it I think.

For a strap mount universal bag I have high hopes for mine. FYI, you can buy just the base and move the bag between bikes as well.

Happy Tuesday guys. Hope you all are having a better week so far than I am. Nothing specific, i think the holiday blues are just starting to get to me. been down in the dumps today and yesterday and the only thing that lightened my mood yesterday was making this toddler in a crosswalk giggle when I revved my bike after i noticed he was staring.
