Lol right. I paid for "unlimited attempts" just to be safe and save some time...basic package allows for two.

Anyone who can't complete it in 2 should have to reapply for their license, these questions are so easy and the only 2 i got wrong, was because I erred on the side of being too safe.

Bit more expensive but can get it on Amazon:

Bburago B18-51082 1:18 Honda Africa Twin Adventure, Assorted Designs and Colours https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08XQXH2M7

I’m not the biggest fan of Aliexpress but to their credit I’ve received everything I’ve ordered from them. Speaking of which, pretty sure the wind deflectors for the Super Tenere were delivered today.

Yup no shame in my game. I'll do what I can to prepare myself and the bike, but if I can't continue on will have to stay the night somewhere. Hoping I can do it though and appreciate the encouragement.

1500 miles in 24 hrs sounds intense! Ride from coast to coast in 2 days lol

I knew I was buying Chinese bags.....so I wasn't padding Bezo's wallet for the same thing  I saved almost $200 by going straight to the source....and since Amazon doesn't have Prime shipping that's guaranteed in 2 days anymore.........was a simple choice :D

Careful with copart. Like old school ebay auctions they always went up in the last few minutes from people bidding in countries all over the world. On top of that, check your fees for buying, copart lists them and they are high. Theres a price tiered final auction fee or value well info the hundreds for bikes. They have a graph on the website, plus storage fees, title fees, its awful. My $1200 KTM 390 was actually a $1850 KTM 390 before fixing it up.

There is a 50 hour coast to coast ride going from Atlantic to Pacific in under 50 hours and a 100 hour coast to coast to coast.

@FreshOldTaco wants to get his IBA number. You in?

I just helped another FJR forum friend get his in June when he went along with me up to Michigan and back. Actually, we each got 2 certs for that trip. Saddlesore of 1087 miles covered in 18 hours then some sleep and broke 1500 miles in under 36 hours for a Bun Burner. We really goofed up though and stopped getting gas receipts because by the time we quit for the night we had over 2k miles in under 48 hours for a Saddlesore 2000.

just a couple of things tbh
ive looked at it all before the fees are there but if it was got for less then a grand then id be fine plus most of coparts stuff in the states stays in the states it doesnt go world wide often sicne it cost to much. thats correct on the bidding its always the last day and last few mins that it goes up high but you can set your limit and pull out if it goes over what you want. ive already looked at all the fees for them since i was looking at a zx4r for a bit but decided against it since well it needed more work then i was wanting to put into it. this one would either A. be torn down for parts for when my bike breaks again... or B. be turned into a dirt toy

    Ooh BURN :bananadead:

i get about 18k/year it seems on average. IDK if I have the mental or physical fortitude to do an Iron butt ride on my BMW lol so it'll probably have to wait until i get a more touring oriented bike.

but if speed limits weren't a thing then I'd definitely consider it lol

I want to come up to PA during Memorial Day week and do this BDR:
    https://ridebdr.com/pawilds/

Waiting on my friend to confirm that he will come too. Same guy that I went to Maine with.

Side note, i thought driving to SW Montana in 3 days was hard. You guys are talking about coast to coast in 2 days on 2 wheels

My best year to date was just shy of 25k miles in 2018. This year I'm around 19+k so far.
