Took a second for my brain to see blurred faces instead of faceless mannequins posed with it. Initial thought was "that's creepy as fuck" TBO.

Do nothing but install the parts that come with the bike and ride the crap out of it.

Come to the east sideeeeee. Houses are in the 3s and 4s, at least haha

What’s the limit of your desired commute? Stanwood or Arlington or somewhere would be like half an hour?

Saw a Ural yesterday. Those things are rad! No pic unfortunately, it was in a lot as I was driving by in congested traffic.

Anyone have any experience with those?

Former coworker has 2 of them. One is an older unit, bought used, that TBH was a total money pit. Engine required a total rebuild at about 15k miles including a new crank and rods. For some reason though he just loves the damned thing. His second one is a brand new 2wd unit he bought for his retirement gift to himself. Dealership delivered it right to his house for him. He's been adding some accessories like a Zumo XT GPS and some extra LED lighting. His plan is mostly secondary road travel and possibly camping out of it. Nice color, sort of an orange metallic. I haven't ridden it. Everything about it is much nicer than his older one but still pretty primitive by most standards. As delivered the parking brake didn't work it was so out of adjustment and there were issues with his paperwork that took almost 2 weeks to get resolved.

Looks like I managed an 8th place finish on this Grand Tour. Mural themed also but all murals and to feature wheeled transportation and no more than 2 murals in any city.

    https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/teamstrange/wheels-on-walls-finishers-t4797.html

John Frick finished 2nd here but 1st in the other mural event. Ken Andrews is an IBR and Hoka Hey finisher who rode 65k miles this year so far and has done a 100k year already. I'm more than content with a top 10 against these folks.

Made it home today with the 23 klx300 in the back of my truck. Came with a new front tire and tube. New bark busters , rear rack and oil and filter. Very happy with the purchase and can’t wait to get out on it. Tomorrow I will give it a good washing, get the engine up to temp and go ahead and change the oil now. Check the chain, tire pressure ect and go have fun. IMG_4116.jpg IMG_4122.jpg

Just ordered a set of XR150 handguards in white to see if they’ll fit on the Grom. Mounting looks pretty universal so we’ll see. For $50 figured it was worth a shot.

If they work i’ll have Navi, Monkey, and XR parts on the bike haha

    Questions for you California riders.

In my late night window shopping I've found that lots of the "better deals" on the Super Teneres are showing up in CA. Are there any dealerships you would say are shady and should be skipped over? Also, how much of a lure is the low price at CA dealerships? Are they just showing a low price to get you in the door, and then try to bleed you dry once they get you there?
