Just got this in the mail for a replacement to my blue helmet that has seen better days for the snow. Might have to order one for summer use since this thing is crazy light

I got a neon yellow backback for riding with when I have my laptop or I'm going to the gym. It was like $30 on Amazon. It's got giant reflective strips. I'm sure it's funny seeing me all safety nerd'ed out riding a GSXR 600 lol. I have some mechanix hi-viz gloves with reflective stuff all over them so people can see me when I flip them off at night! :luvya: They aren't protective for shit though. Wish they made some good hi viz riding gloves. I also need to figure out a way to add a chest strap to this backpack.

I have Scorpion SGS gloves in Hi-Viz. Very nice gloves.

Velcro gets a bit worn and comes undone sometimes but the gloves themselves are nice and I feel protected wearing them. The hard knuckles and Kevlar/Kangaroo materials feel quality. Looks like Revzilla only has them in 3XL right now but you should be able to find some elsewhere.

What are you guys using for in-helmet comms? I'm taking a road trip next month and will be moto-camping with a buddy and figured comms would make the 400 mile trip a bit easier so we don't have to rely on hand signals the whole way.

How do those work exactly? Is it open mic the whole time or push to talk? I know a lot of them go off blue tooth, but a few places we'll be heading will have no cell reception so I'd rather not be dependent on our phones. Forgive the noob questions, I've never dealt with in-helmet comms and am used to HAM or CB in the truck. Being on a bike, I don't want to have to take my hand off the controls every time I want to talk.

Mic the whole time. They don't rely on cell signal at all. Only need to adjust volume or disconnect from the chat with your hand

Thanks Chris. I'll look into it a bit more.

Found a duo kit on revzilla for $180 that might suit our needs.

Yup that will work. They can be a little bit of a pain to link up at first but once you figure it out it's easy

Seriously, I had no idea and we kept pressing buttons at the wrong time but I got the hang of it now. Although at times we will be riding without it being linked if we wanted to listen to music and it would randomly pair, kinda funny when it's happens tho
