yeah fairly simple accident really. Thanks to the storms over the last week or two the canyons are pretty gravelly/sandy from erosion. He's a fast rider, riding too fast for conditions this time unfortunately. Hit a patch and went over the canyon edge. Tragic but certainly a lesson to be learned from it :(

Ah man. At least he went out doing what he loved. But yeah, road conditions can be all over the place after storms.

Man what a tragedy. I don't ride fast anymore, never really did I guess. I've ridden the dragon 3 times, but at my pace and still really enjoyed it. UT I'm an old man and just want to live to ride another day at this stage of my life.

After my camping trip this past weekend......I really want a Grom...........So, I may have just sent the dealer an email about this listed at $3499. They don't have any markups

    18828801-9645001-117355711.jpg

Sent one to a local dealer that had the same one listed for $2949................$4418 + tax after all the bullshit fees they added. I'll drive 3.5hrs to save a grand

    definitely agreed to both

yeah. i'm always wary of how fast I go in canyons since it can go so wrong so quickly...never going so fast that I can't emergency maneuver safely. Unfortunately not everyone is always as cautious. That's the risk we accept riding these glorious machines

I'd love to build a mini dual sport/adventure Grom. It would be a blast ripping around some trails

Trex has a shit ton of stuff  I wonder why they didn't put knobbies on it though

This weekend kinda cemented it for me. My buddies are even wanting them. The place we camped was perfect for a little mini bike.

I leave at 3p today since this was an extra shift. I'm gonna call the dealer with no markups on my way home.

That was my groms main use for a long time on solo camping trips that wernt solely off road related. Great to get down the road to the general store / boat ramp / lake's water edge etc.

My Grom is for sale... though im a bit far away from you!

With how small and light the bike is, outside of muddy terrain, I don't know what it'd gain with knobbies to be honest. Stock tires will still chew up gravel and fire roads and be less vibe-y on-road than a knob. I don't plan on putting knobs on mine.

I doubt I'd ride mine much unless I was camping. I enjoy my baby Rally around town. And knobbies are just kewl :D

I rocked the Kenda K761 tires on my grom and they were fantastic on the road and waaay better off road vs any street tire.

(My sig pic with my truck is actually taken in the valley looking up at where this was taken looking down)
