Lol the beauty of it is, if she's into you it doesn't really matter how you do it.

Lol yeah I feel that. I did see an exhaust vid this morning of a ZX4RR and it sounded purty though...

I did end up riding in the rain quite a bit a few years ago. A guy I've known for over 25 years had a streak going of consecutive days ridden and kind of prodded me into trying it myself. Ground rules were simple, 10 miles on the street during every calendar day for as many days as you could. My first attempt I made it 294 days when we got hit with enough snow to make it so I just couldn't get out and fit in a ride. Little more than a week later the weather improved and the roads were clear so I started over. I rode every single day, without fail from mid March of 2017 through later January of 2019 without missing a day. 680 days. I swore to myself that once my streak did end I would NOT start again. I rode to and from work in the rain. I set an alarm and got up at midnight to go take a 10 mile ride then went back to bed so I could beat an incoming snow storm. I went riding when I was sick or when my back hurt. It was a challenge that I'm glad I undertook and I can truthfully claim a "perfect year" and a "perfect calendar year" but I will tell you that streak was harder than any of the Iron Butt rides I've done. The receptionist here at my work said I was nuts. Most of my coworkers thought I was insane.

Google "Blaine Paulus" sometime and you can read about my buddy. His record went for 21 years, 11 months, and change before Covid put him in the hospital.

How do you find the MSR quality on that? I bought a pair of dirtbike pants from MSR that wernt their bottom level and the pants are some of the worst pants I have ever had.

Here's what the salt and brine from PA roads did to the spacers and needle bearings in my FJR1300 rear relay arm.

Now admittedly that was at about 120k miles when I tore it down for service and I went ahead and bought a used replacement arm off eBay anticipating the issue.

I just got it last night. I honestly hope I don't have to find out  I don't typically ride if I knew there's rain in the forecast.

The only other MSR stuff I have is the base layer pants/shirt and the mid-layer pants. Those are what I expected them to be.

I'm sort of spoiled at work I guess. I've even gotten away with installing Garmin Basecamp on my PC here at work so I can keep the company GPS updated and plan routes for our driver. That's also meant planning routes for some rallies I've done and helping plot out all of those murals I visited last year.

Nice. I never think to look there.

I just like to read ride reports and get review threads.

Basecamp is really not that user friendly but it's functional. I end up taking care of doing everyone's map updates in here too.

Typical Mac user probably hasn't restarted it in a year, has about 0Kb of drive space free and 100tabs open in chrome lol.
