Well I was correct in thinking the owner of the VFR would raise his price. I also noticed in a vid he sent that the bike was last registered in 2014 so it’s been sitting for 10 years with only 8000 miles on it. To me it’s not worth at this time to buy. Having a bike sit for that long could have problems pop up like seals and rubber hoses ect. Not really looking to drop a bunch more money into it.

I had a Busa a long time ago. Raced a Cobra Mustang with my wife on the back. Wasn’t much of a race, but my wife was a great passenger. I would tap her hand around my waist and she knew to hold on, that I was about to get after it. We had other signals too. What a blast that bike was. Im happy we survived it.

as we got older we moved to a Yamaha FJR. As we got older still, shit was just uncomfortable and painful, and apparently I am “not responsible enough “ to have anything too fast anymore. Lol

Just signed up for my first track day of the year. It’s next Sunday at The Ridge Motorsports in Shelton WA. Supposed to be in the upper 60’s and sunny. LETS GO!! That should help with anxiety and depression.

There's a couple videos on YouTube, drag race with it. It's slow actually. Because it has too much power to get to the ground and just power wheelies and tears up rear tires. Needs extended swingarm

I'm so ready for warmer weather. I just want to get the bike out of storage, do the oil change, bolt on the bars and skid, and go for a ride.

apparently they did some shady shit with special use permits this year.

“Due to unexpected changes to the NJDEP's Special Use Permit with a deadline that has given us insufficient time to review, Meteor MC will be unable to hold Sandy Lane Enduro on its 2024 scheduled date.”

+1 for airbags, firestone or equivalent. I kept a couple hundred pounds in the bed and that was enough to sag the stock leaf springs by itself. Super easy install and worth their weight in gold if you're hauling. Firm when you need it, plush when you don't.

Not pictured: a 500lb CB750 on a 200lb hitch hauler. The airbags handled it fine but the truck was not happy lol sketchy but I made it over 100 miles on the interstate. I'm only buying bikes I can ride into the bed now.
