I was as a scoffer until I had it haha.

Younger me wasn’t as safety minded either.

    Here we are getting old!

Love cruise control on my super tenere for those longer rides. 2014+ Has cruise control.

Check out the NOCO lithium batteries (LiFePO4 - much less volatile than LiPO batts with full active BMS for proper charging, short circuit protection, over discharge etc etc). Been very happy with how more vigorously my Super Tenere cranks with the NLP14 over the last year n a half. Just got the little guy for my dirtbike (NLP5) for extra cranking power as well as weight savings. (As my TUSK lithium battery took a crap after 6 yrs or so, took that apart and was NOT happy with the build quality inside of that and the lack of BMS)

For sealed AGM needs on the bikes where cranking/weight isnt an issue or concern I have had great luck with cheapie WEIZE / Mighty Max batteries off Amazon.

Oh believe me I wish I had it lol. I have a knockoff atlas throttle lock that gives me a slight reprieve to relax my throttle hand a bit, but it'll quickly vibrate closed.

Plus it is a small bike, if you are over 6' that would not be fun. They do command some money only being imported into the US 87-90 I believe.

That’s subjective.. I upgraded to a NOCO, NLP-5 ($80), and then you need a proper battery tender for it as well. It’s at the bottom of the page in the Amazon stuff links. Or… you can just keep going with the standard style.

McCruise makes an aftermarket add on doohickey that's pretty slick but also pretty pricey.

I, too, love cruise control. But I'm also fat and ride a fat adv bike most days so I don't think anyone would be surprised.

I’m weird with bikes. I have no set “kind” I like. Individual bikes from each segment are enjoyable to ride to me, others not so much. It makes it hard to buy anything without a solid test ride or ten…

well not bike related but im finally getting rid of the atv this weekend. gotta clean the carb since its a bit gummed up from old fuel but this saturday it will be sold. taking 200 less then i wanted but 1800 aint to bad and i can use it to get some stuff fixed on the truck and save other monies for a new bike.
