Brother in law did that with my box when we were doing brakes on his car. I saw it right as it happened "no don't open all the dra--" CRASH.

During the 40 min clean up/re-org I realized hey I think I'm going to get along with this guy lol.

I know it's different times now, but when I graduated HS in 97.....it wasn't uncommon to see rifles or shotguns in the back of truck windows. If there were fights, we never worried about anyone going out to their vehicle and getting a gun. Granted, I grew up in a small Alabama town(had 93 in my graduating class). I don't ever recall a "mob" fight either. It was always one-on-one with everybody circled around to make a ring :D

I graduated in 01, lived in Wisconsin before moving to Washington my freshman year. In Wisconsin opening day of deer season was a school holiday, for real, everyone got it off. Shotguns and rifles lived in truck back windows. Washington was a totally different thing. The Columbine thing happened, we had a kid at my school get caught with a gun in his backpack (wasn't gonna shoot up the school, but that's irrelevant), there was no way anyone was gonna get away with a shotgun or rifle in their back window

It's a shame that kids have to deal with the possibility of a school shooting. I wish there was a clear answer as to what even made that an option to people. Was it the drugs we throw down these kid's throats for every clinical diagnosis in the books? Parents not parenting? No taking responsibility of your actions? No more paddling/spanking? Or has it always been there and social media just shined a light on it?

I'm so glad I'm a gen-x'er and don't have to deal with that shit

Worst thing that ever crossed my mind was taking a cheap shot when they weren't looking. Never did that b/c I didn't want that reputation of being like that.

All of the above, I will say it wasnt there before, the internet / social media have made things SOOOOO MUCH WORSE for young kids.

I'm so thankful I didn't have it growing up. I was also lucky enough to have parents that let me know real quick they ruled the roost and I knew to respect them

Same. I am VERY grateful for the same, my parents were strict but nurturing and I learned so much and still learn from them. Im also glad that social media was in its infancy at the end of highschool (graduated 2007). Just good times, nothing super serious throughout school etc. Having family friends that teach in the same school district these days, they simply state its so backwards and SO bad with what is trying to be pushed on kids from above as well as the social climate that has been created from IG/TikTok n the like.

Duuuude I hate that. I have had packages get lost go through the whole process of dealing with that, company reship, get the reshipped thing then next thing you know the original order shows up.

Back on moto topic. Planning my rides on Maui. I can't freaking wait. CRF250L Rally will be my ride, and it's gonna be perfect for spelunking around the island
