I didn't get to ride in the event but this mural that was painted for it was too cool to not take pictures with.

That IS cool.

Still time! this years event is really just now building steam, with fundraising etc. The ride happens on the same day globally, May 19th this year.

Never mind the bike rules. I've never seen them enforced.

I don't usually fundraise for the dgr, I just pay my fee as a donation and participate. I just don't have the time to do the fundraising part.

 

That reminds me I need to sign up. Agreed it's a fun event and always a great turnout. I've never heard them say anything about what you're wearing or bike you have... this is me at last year's DGR in Philly -

 

I hear that. I use the standard social media opportunities, let freinds and family know, and let it ride. Seems to work pretty well. Some folks go all out, but like you, I don't have the time.

Perfect bike for the event! I just signed up and saw there's one in Harrisburg

First, not an AT.

Second, I prefer liquid cooled.

Third, I am not brave enough nor enough of a mechanic to own an Italian bike.

MG gets credit for being the only one offering a sub liter shaft drive adv bike, though.

 

I've actually been busy at work so haven't had a chance to look just yet. LOL.

 

I'd be curious to know what you think of those tires/how you like them. My XSR came with them and I wasn't a huge fan
