Motorcycles BS Thread 2.0

About 14k miles. Haven't had to replace the rad yet but since I've owned it (since 7k) I've had extra support between the frame and tank and only use safety wire for the side fairing/rad mount. Hoping I can make this rad last ... I already have one in stock as a spare.

 

hopefully everyone elses weather is staying warm! temps dropped back down to 35-40s this week with rain! so not fun times!

Indy. Center of the universe for the next several days. We are the epicenter of the Eclipse on Monday, and man, shit's gettin' wierd. Authorities stopped by where my GF works, director of a day care center with 300 students. Asked them to be closed for the day. All hotels have been booked for weeks. They're telling people to plan to stay in place.

Seems very strange to me. But, what do I know?

 

I didn't realize it was a common problem until mine started leaking near the top right mount. I put a new radiator in and want to get the original repaired so I have a spare on the shelf. I should do the same as you did adding extra tank support, saw a video that describes the issue/fix pretty well

Why would I pay $600+ for a heavier helmet than the HJC? just for the name/bragging rights? Color?

 

My Suomy MX Tourer is 2.7lbs I got it for a steal at $250ish
