Fair enough. At least give me an area to search in and your deal breakers. Give me a city and a range around it to look in.

I like vehicle shopping. I do it for fun even when I am not in the market, so at least my wanderings could be of use. :D

haha thats fine im out in the kc area in missouri. i have no issues driving 3 hours for a good deal. (the z650 is in omaha lol)

deal breakers would be cost lol i dont really wanna spend 6k on a second bike tbh. so ya its gonna be harder for me to find something but im stubborn and dont want to spend a lot haha. id be looking for a z650 or a mt-07, id be fine with a bolt to go and check out tbh so i can get a feel for one to see if i would like it or not.

If you're interested in a few different Yamahas, check out their events section on the website. https://yamahamotorsports.com/events.php
You can see if they have any demo days close enough to be worth the trip and then you can go ride a couple bikes. It won't be a free run where you can get nutty, so no worries about wrecking it, but you should be able to play with it enough to tell if you like the feel. If nothing else you can get an idea for the ergonomics and see if any just feel wrong right off the bat.

Dude.... the Z650RS makes my pants very tight. Essentially the same as the yamaha MT## vs XSR## line... Same motors and chassis just different styling. I REALLY like the retro modern look so that RS checks ALLLLLLL the boxes in the looks dept for me. Probably a little more comfortable to ride too vs the regular naked.

If we're doing these I'll throw in my 2 cents for an XSR700. I think the 2016-2021 models look best.

sooo ive actually sat on those and like them a lot buuut its gonna sound silly but the radiator sticking out like that with no guard on it makes it look goofy but thats just me haha. can always get something to cover the sides a tiny bit. the other thing i dislike is the cost of them.. they are pricey!
both are sweat looking bikes cant go wrong with either tbh!

Yeah the "retro" tag on those bikes (kawi, or yamaha) definitely carry a price increase.

OK time to solve moto lusting by hopping on the lil ole xt225 to go to lunch. Kinda like post nut clarity.

ya they do but i feel that would be better for comfort since the seat is more squish lol so it might be what i truly need for both of us tbh. get the playfulness of a naked sport bike but a larger seat like other bikes

haha my bad! i found a deal that was good so started looking and after talking with her she wont be buying a dual sport for a year or so since she has her own goals before that which is fair. so time for me to try and get my own bike lol

Try to stay away from 06-07 I think because they had frame cracking problems. The later ones have an update ecu.

yup lol. the Kawis look great but the yamaha noises can't be beat. I also liked the anniversary paint scheme of the yamaha better.

I don't think they are much higher than their regular naked offerings, only by $500 or so? still a decent chunk...but I've found the "neo-retro" versions (or neo-cafe as some call them) tend to hold their value better upon resale.

Very customizable though. shameless plug of mine just before I sold it because now you have me reminiscing.

Just got back from my dental implant consultation. I liked the doc as he seemed to be very honest and just got a good vibe from him. Price for full upper in zirconia complete is 20k which didn’t surprise me. You can get porcelain cheaper but IMO the price doesn’t outweigh the benefits of zirconia.
I have another appt with another place tomorrow but I did talk to the doc about his opinion about other big corp implant companies. He gave me the pros and mostly cons of their procedures. The biggest being after surgery you never see that doc again and get passed off to someone else. He said you get me for the entire time from start to finish including the every 6 month checks.

I wish I had more, but these are pretty much all I got before one of the unluckiest weeks of my life. There will be plenty soon enough.

I like that, first glance I thought it was an RZ.

I'd have to have fenders, a small windscreen and maybe a different saddle. Be tough getting from Dallas to Albuquerque in one hop thru rain squalls and a norther on it. But I like it. One of those horses for courses bikes.

I like the shit out of that, scratches all my itches. You could run 5 hours of interstates then short cut thru fire roads.
