Yup the airbox is right where your knee wants to be... I had the Cobra PowrFlo intake and it was slightly lower profile but still a bit in the way. I didn't want to run a full open filter but people do that without issue it seems

just a couple of things tbh
ya thats what ive been reading on. a lot ran the open filter with no issues and if it rains they say just put the sock thingy over it and its no problem so ill prob go that route for low profile and old school look. then to find some cool sounding exhaust... i kinda want dual pipes i feel it would fit the look lol.

I've had facebook since I was 14, and all i use it for these days is birthdays and marketplace. I find Facebook Marketplace to be one of the better methods of finding decent used deals...just have to sift through some garbage. Wish their filters were a little better too.

nowadays I mostly just google "facebook marketplace" and then go from there haha. cut out the middleman

@Calamity_taco you're gonna like having it, particularly since your GF is excited to ride with you. It'll be a completely different mindset when she's on board. I have a cruiser-ish bike as well. Thought about selling it but the GF said no. It's the only one she likes to ride on. And it's red.

Got a nice shot from a pro photog who worked the DGR this weekend. Thought I'd throw it in here. The 'creamsicle' bike is a 71 Moto Guzzi Eldorado. It won 'most dapper bike' from the 190 that we entered. Really well done, not just lipstick. Behind that is another Guzzi, 2000 Jackal, similar cruiserish bike to your Bolt. Not often you see three old Guzzis in a row, and all very different from one another. Cheers.

even got the Tacoma photobomb on this one...

Good thing I got out for a ride yesterday. It’s pissing rain today.
On another note just got back from the dentist. He said he will be able to save my teeth. Even the broken one. Gave me options for single implants, or a bridge. Went over everything and just waiting for them to email final cost. Should be much cheaper than 23k for all on 4.

Full exhaust and tune ordered for the Tuareg. Supposedly this eliminates the partial throttle stutter due to lean fueling.

Nice Bolt. I had bought/sold a 2015 c-spec a few years ago. They're pretty solid bikes but the steering stem bearing has been known to go out prematurely, resulting in death wobble. Best option is to replace the ball bearing with a tapered roller bearing. I have an extra/ unopened All Balls roller bearing kit I will let go for dirt cheap, if you end up needing to do the swap.

Yeah, I've got that red Jackal that I've tried to bobber-ize. 1064cc v twin. Typical Guzzi torque. Carves despite it's style. Still can throw a windscreen and bags on it if I need to. Rolls in three different formats. The GRiSO is my go to these days, though.

If you haven't already, I would highly recommend doing some research into Gabro's products for the 660 platform.

What exhaust did you go with?

assuming we're talking about bikes. Yeah that's the one. I have two that are sportier with solo seats (GRiSO and 1000S), the other is an oldie with a two up saddle, but she just doesn't like it. I've thought about buying a more modern bike that could really work for her (ADV, ST) but haven't pulled that trigger.

It's been many years, I don't remember specifics so well. But I do remember it probably being closer to a little bit of both. Felt like with the 450lbs so far on one side the whole thing was just not ideal for one bike. Maybe the newer ones are better. They do tow like a dream otherwise. I wish I had kept the single, I found a stupid deal on the double, like $600, so figured I'd "upgrade"

Yeah, if I could get one that cheap and somewhat close I'd pounce. Looking used the only one I'm seeing is for 2500 on a drive up double, but the pics are questionable. If it's a legit like new trailer, it's a good deal for what they go for. I might just sell my trailer first and save up to get a new one. From the factory you can get some different colors, so I might even be dumb with $ and do that too. LOL

Pulled the VFR800fi out of winter sleep.
First ride , I've been nursing a bum knee and have been concerned about falling over in the parking lot.
A friendly car drive pulled along side to tell me one of the tail lights were out. So that gave me a destination (parts store ;-)
It's 90 degrees out there with clouds that look like they could dump any second.

It's good to be on two wheels!
