Went on a longer ride today with my friend - as usual a ton of fun was had.

@nd4spdbh or @50Buck - either of you have issues with not being able to get your left foot high enough on the peg while making turns? I kept dragging my left boot in turns because my heel runs in to the exhaust shield.

Went and saw some friends up in the city of Vancouver this weekend. Took the bike and the views up hwy 99 on a day trip to Squamish were supreme! Getting stuck in traffic in 90* weather left some to be desired...

3 hours point to point and just got home. Def gonna invest in one of those cool covers before the next trip. Otherwise, bike and gear did great.

You need to do the cascade highways loop sometime this summer. From Everett it'd probably take about 9 hours? Rever is saying about 370ish miles from generic points in Everett. Depending on the day of the week and the traffic on HWY 2 and how much stopping you do.

Take hwy 9 up to Sedro, take a right onto hwy 20 over the north cascades and some of the most beautiful driving, stop for lunch at the brewery along the river in winthrop, then down through twisp, chelan, wenatchee, leavenworth and back across the cascades over hwy 2. Bucketlist ride IMHO. Take @JeffRoyJenkins and @oldtoyman with you, too

Nope, I am an average sized dude @ 5ft 9... 5ft 10 if i swim the night before, sleep in restful sleep and measure right when I wake up. size 10.5 shoe.

I have always been conditioned to ride on the toes/ball of your foot from dirtbikes cus if you let a foot hang below a peg you are asking for a broken foot REAL quick. I have never had an issue with the super tenere not having room to tuck in my feet high and tight like on a sport bike / dirtbike. Ill have to take a look at how close I am to the exhaust shield.

Finally got to ride the X with one of my ADV buddies. Rode 50/50 on his 300XCW and my CRF. That XCW scoots pretty good.

Technically I'm dragging foot and not peg haha. I haven't gotten the right side down (and don't plan to).

Yeah I stay on my toes but my left foot can't go back far enough. I do have size 13 feet so it doesn't help but it's disconcerting (and also a little painful because I clipped a lane marker too).

The envy is strong with me on this one.

Basically, we in hibernation for the next 75 days. I rode for about 30 minutes this morning and came back drenched in sweat. Moving wasnt real bad, but them red lights was a killer.

I'm surprised it held together. Thats a testament to Honda reliability.

Next it will be a Benelli Volcano.

just a couple of things tbh
Hard to see pic but we hit 6k miles finally! Time to order some tires and do an oil change here soon since it's time to do one. The gal I bought it from did do one before I bought it but Im just gonna do it now so that I know in another 6k it will need it or the start of next season since it will sit in winter.

Not sure if you're familiar with this company. Might be a good idea for luggage for that Bolt.

    https://ventura-bike.com/collections/yamaha/products/yamaha-xvs-950-bolt-cu-14-18

Dealership I worked for used to be a distributor and they made some really nice stuff.
