I am going to take a break from buying and selling bikes until next year. This is a wake up call to chill out. Sometimes you have to read the signs and this one said stop!!!

 

If you're gonna keep the headlights at least get some black tape! And don't leave it on too long or it'll be a bitch to remove

Taping lights is silly and outdated, should just allow you to pull the headlight fuse. It's such a silly practice that just won't die

 

That's actually on my list of things to do, only issue is I have to take the tank cover off to remove the fuses.

 

Taping lights is to keep the glass together. But yes lights are also distracting to others on the track

 

My partner just got a work assignment a few blocks away from home so I mentioned it close enough for her to ride the monkey to work. She stopped and thought for a second… “That would actually be pretty cool!”

 

Most headlights are plastic nowadays.

I've also seen some people on track run with lights on, which is kind of weird for sure.

 

Yes, glass, modern bikes are polycarbonate headlights, which explode the same as abs plastic of bodywork

 

Even better when you see them turn their turn signals on

I just ordered one for the new bike yesterday. they have and adapter that uses the BMW nav prep and just clicks in. pretty excited for it.

 

I watched a ton of YT vids on it. I'm sure it'll be more than enough for my uses. Might be a different story if I were traveling the world
