I wear Surefire plugs when shooting that have little inserts that allow you to choose how much noise reduction you want. I have EP7s (foam) but EP4s also have the insert.

"Their triple-flanged stem design fits larger ear canals and provides a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 24dB. Sounds, at safe levels, are allowed to pass through into the ear canal, while potentially harmful noises (above 85dB) are reduced via a proprietary design that incorporates a special noise-reducing filter"

Buy the transition lens. They work great.

I'd have one if it fit my rf1100. But I only have one on my old bell.

Hey fellas, new to the thread. I sold my R6 for an enduro after I had my first baby boy. It's now road legal so I can ride straight to the trails. I don't care much to ride it on the street because it's so boring compared to my old bike but it rips in the desert. Here's a pic of when I first got it. I'm bringing it to Mammoth with me for the fourth maybe I'll snap a cool pic if I remember.

Here's a pic from a 70 mile trip. That's Jean lake bed to the right if anyone is familiar with the Las Vegas area. It feels good to be back in the dirt after selling my cr250 about 10 years ago.

Just have a dark or chrome visor, and get a bike that has good headlights for night

Or keep your DS helmet with clear visor (and goggles?) for any night riding

I just wear the cheap harbor freight ear plugs. Just brings the sound down a little bit. I bring a stash with me for my riding buddies if they forget.

3100 lumens seems to work well at night...

I either take the tinted goggles off and run just the visor or i switch to my 100% goggles with a clear lens

Mine puts out 2300 and that is only a 6 inch bar. With that headlight shouldn't need anything more

Then why would you have to wear sunglasses with the Shoei?

Any of you using a Bluetooth communicator set for your helmets?
Which one and how do you like it? Do you use it often?

    Thanks in advance.

Sena SMH10R, every time I ride pretty much. I like it, have had some issues with one of the speakers cutting in and out intermittently but for the most part I like it.

About 8 hours of music battery life, never used it as an intercom yet so not sure on battery life for that.

Same. Works fine for comms. Slightly irritating to connect them though. Line of sight before disconnect. Speakers aren't of the best quality but it works well otherwise.

I wrecked my Ninja 500 back in April, some jackass pulled in front of me and had the nerve to say I hit him from behind and it was my fault. Thankfully, insurance has pulled through, and I got my settlement today, so I'll be back on two wheels. Now to decide if I want to fix the Ninja or buy another bike. Decisions...

Me too. 'Twas quite a slide, I lost the front at 50 mph. 150 feet later some roadrash on my knee and some clothing damage was all that was broken, bike aside.
