IDK I don’t hate the look of it. I guess it’s all subjective.
Is it just the looks that makes it bad for you? Or is there something else?

The Kawi was more of a point and shoot bike. It made the most power by a little bit, but didn't do anything else great. No one was winning races on that bike, everyone was using CBRs, S1Krr, R1 s. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't anything special.

The quadlocks are very known for causing camera issues. They've since released a "vibration damper" mount.

Any experience with the ram x-grip dropping a phone / tablet? Run that in the 4x4's and so far so good, though different application.

yea dont run it lol. My phone fell off going 50+ and we spent almost 2 hours looking for it in tall grass on side of road. The vibes are bad.

Yes, yes, and yes. I don't have a mangina, though. And the "old" is relative.

We have one on the r6. Not my favorite either.

I've been happier with cheap mounts on Amazon like this

A good deal is a good deal...personally I'd say go for it. worst case, you get rid of it and break even if not make some money. best case you got screamin deal on a literbike.

nah there's a secondary piece you buy and install on it to dampen it.

learn from my mistakes: run a bar mount if you're gonna use a quadlock, mine fell out of my fork stem mount the same day i went in and tightened it. lost my phone and the mount.

I've also heard good things about Rokform mounts over Quadlock or RAM.

Stem mounts suck. That's another thing I don't like about thr ram mount on the r6

Look at it this way. If you hunted, that'd take a few grand a year(leasing land, gear, ammo, processing meat, etc)......so.................just hope you don't hunt too

Carpuride. They have different sizes available. Never buy one at full price, they’re always on sale. Wireless android auto or carplay to mirror your phone screen essentially. Fantastic unit so far.

i’ve toasted two phone cameras so far. also saw a guy on ADVrider toast his camera even with the vibration reduction mount and when he contacted quad lock they racially just told him to pound sand and that they don’t guarantee it actually reducing anything.

I have an x grip, i never dropped my phone out of it but that’s what ruined two cameras for me. i’ll never handlebar mount again, with anything, zero trust.

I had the x grip fail and my phone flew out coming off an exit ramp. They do have a rubber tether thing that likely would have helped if I used it. I had another x grip issue though as well. On my previous Android phone when I put the phone in if I wasn't really careful the gripping points made contact with the power and volume buttons on the phone and sent my phone into an unstoppable reboot sequence forcing me to pull over and yank my phone which was also overheating like crazy.

Slip Grip mount is my go to now. Using one for 6 years with no issues.
