Found the handbook or whatever you wanna call it on Reddit. Doesn't look too bad.

It's like a 25x60 box, and that's not including that starting space outside the rectangle. More than anything, I'm just excited to give it a go.

Was looking for the Omni-Cruise which I used in the past very successfully and came across this on Amazon.

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CH9ZJHTR?sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9ocXBfc2hhcmVk

Chinesium knockoff but looks decent enough and especially for the price.

Unless it's on a track going fast is for squids. Sure a short burst here or there but the constant 100+ is silly

A track day is for fun and honing up on your skills. There are no trophies at the end for going balls out on the straight. Anyway I think maybe they need small cc sessions for the “slower” top end bikes.

Not bike shopping. Just sitting on some and talking to Scott the owner. He is a cool guy. Left there not wanting another bike.

They'd be happy to, if there were enough people for it to make sense. I have a fair bit of background knowledge about running trackdays up here, it's fuckin expensive. No one is getting rich running trackdays, 90% of the time they just hope to break even. There's a reason soany companies come and go. They get in too deep in debt to the tracks and fold

So that 2008 Zx10r that I was talking about sold yesterday. Then today the kid that bought it has it up forsale already for 900 more than the orig owner was asking. His excuse was his parents got pissed he bought the bike and is making him sell it. No time to register or transfer title even. That was the fastest flip I have seen. I think he is stuck with it for a little bit.

I actually used the Omni Cruise on my 07 FJR on several Iron Butt rides. On level road it's really effective. Not as precise as true cruise control but damned good for most riders.

Took both BMW's out for short rips tonight.. The S1000XR beats the F800GS on absolutely everything engine and drivetrain based, but the F800GS is just so much more comfortable, even if it takes twice as long to get up to speed. Sigh. I think I'm making the right choice in selling the S1000XR..

Side note, I'm at a terrible height for wind screens, apparently. Put a touring windscreen on the S1000XR (also why I wanted to go out on it tonight) and in the low position the top of the bubble hits the top of my helmet, in the high position I get turbulence under the screen hitting my throat. Will probably go back to the stock screen..

I've used that on the Versys for several Iron Butts. Works well enough.

Speaking of which, I still haven't gotten the Iron Butt certificate from the Bun Burner Gold ride. :(

You did the BBG a while ago. Are you on the Iron Butt forum? That would be the place to reach out. When did you submit it?

I actually just renewed my Premier membership last night. I like being able to submit everything electronically and the faster turn around times but I really don't do enough rides to justify it. Either need to do more cert rides or maybe drop the Premier membership.

that sounds perfect for me tbh! im just needing it to hold for a bit while i rest my hands for a few mins. no bikes i like have cruise control so that will be a norm to me on using something like that.

well minus the africa twin i like it a lot and would trade to one if i was taller lol

A few years ago when @FreshOldTaco sold his SV650 to @w.adventures I think I gave mine to @w.adventures since I now had electronic cruise on the '14 FJR1300 figuring he'd like it for his ride home from PA to SC.

Relocated the horn on the ZRX (see if you can find it!) and it came out super nice, didn't have to modify any parts either. Bike is looking better than ever and boy is it an absolute blast to ride and use!

Next up is an LED headlight I think - I'm riding home in the dark from school every week and this halogen is meh at best.
