Grabbed these two Pitbull stands for $150 for both today:

    upload_2024-9-28_21-56-9.png

I was able to get the front stand on the RC390 but it got stuck because the pin is not the correct one...

    upload_2024-9-28_21-56-50.png

So I just spent another $50 on the right pin from Pit Bull (as well as some thumb adjusters for the rear stand). I still need to go to Home Depot tomorrow and get some more bolts for the rear stand as well.

Score! I have been looking for some “cheap” Pitbull stands. Just found a set like yours for $180 but the rear stand looks trashed. :annoyed:

Not my style of bike, but looked damn good sitting on the dealer floor (yesterday). I have never liked the color red, but it looks great.

Here is all the pics from my trip! My trip wasn't as long as I wanted it to be tbh.. had a great time thou! Next year we are all doing dirtbikes and doing the dirtbike route! So here is waiting for next year!
Best part was getting random snacks and these silly skeletons to put on our bikes for the last bit of the ride to the camp!

I also got there to late to test drive the Ducati adventure bike or the gs890? I really wanted to try the gs out since it was really comfy but it was to dark and they said they would allow us to ride them in the morning but when I went over nobody was there and no bikes... So maybe another time! They did have a royal Enfield adventure bike that I will say had the comfiest seat I've ever sat on! That bike I did ride for a short spell and tbh it was a gutless tractor but it was neat but not worth the 6k..

It would be neat to get an adventure bike to do trips like this on the big bike sections but idk if I would truly get as much use out of it as my bolt since it would just be an added bike not a replacement.

    But that's it!

    Bolt:490

Selling my 21 Yamaha Tracer 9 GT if anyone is interested. Really don't want to store it over the winter. Make me a reasonable offer and it just may be yours. It is one powerful and smooth bike for sure. I love the triple motor and quick shifter. Just over 1,600 miles. Barely broken in. $12k???20220416_164056.jpg

Love the mixed up bikes in the first pictures series. Dirt bike on the street, road bike in the dirt / overgrowth haha.

haha yup the only bit the klx got to ride on was a sketchy gravel road that for what ever reason i couldnt keep the bike balanced on? (had the same issue with the truck when driving to the location) and then the ride to go get the gf after the deer incident.

Another day, another addition to my saga with the DMV.

Checked the mail today and would you know it, there was an envelope from the DMV. Optimistically i figured they finally got all my R6 paperwork to me. As I begin to open it I realize it feels a bit too thin and flimsy...turns out it is. They only sent me the new registration and sticker. No title.

Maybe fruitlessly, I'm hoping they just sent the title from a difference office and that's why it's not here yet. Otherwise I have to wait another 2 weeks before I can call and have them reissue it for the 4th time...

There's a decent chance that titles and reg are distributed out of different offices, like you said--or, at least shipped separately. Maybe as some sort of security measure?

That's what I'm hoping for. When I spoke to them last a couple weeks ago for the previous re-issue, she did seem very adamant that both were getting shipped out to the correct address. Unfortunately I don't relish the idea of calling in to find out, so I'll just wait and see. What's another few weeks...lol

Ha I got the same set from my buddy who used to track and got out of it for about that same price too. That was like 8 years ago and I still continually use the rear every once in a while for the dirtbike.

Was invaluable when I pulled the motor on the R6 and then rebuilt the forks.

Do you guys adjust your suspension every time you switch from 1 to 2-up riding and back?

I've been taking a friend on some rides recently, and have not been adjusting the suspension. Figure since it's already set so stiff, it's manageable. Can definitely feel the difference a bit but feels okay, nothing unstable or sketchy.

I used to but since getting the Penske rear shock and having it built and sprung for 2-up riding on the 2014 FJR I don't bother anymore. It's a little stiff solo but nothing overbearing that I can't deal with. Before when I was using the stock rear shock I did. It was a noticeable difference back then.
