    Loud AF but fucking awesome.

I should mention, the bike had a speedohealer correcting for gearing the bike didn't have. I thought I was doing 80-85 the whole way. 85 was actually about 100mph. And somehow, not a single ticket!

At Shannonville raceway they referred to this GS1000 (or was it an 11?) as the 5 liter Suzuki. We had it on the dyno trying to sort a clutch issue and it was making over 165hp and spinning the rear and trying to jump off the dyno.

200kmh (120mph) and it would lift the front wheel easily while smoking the rear tire.

    Yup-
Mine was a professional race bike builder from middle TN known as mad max (before the comic and movies). Gs1100rs. Considered to be the inception bike of the horsepower wars that lead to the Busa. He had 6-7 when he died, my buddy bought one too, said it's a 200+ bike now he's had it out.
Not bad for Miami vice 80s bike.

The current owner (guy in the pic is no longer with us) is a good friend of mine. His email for years has been madmax@……….. Did I read you right that you know of a 200HP GS? Unless it is a drag bike I have trouble believing it. I know how short lived the motors are at that kind of HP and what is in them. Hard to find a clutch that can hold that kind of torque and still be able to pull the clutch in.

    Same madmax you think?

So coming back from my lunch on my bike a trooper decides to cross in my land by 50% to go around walkers forcing me into a controlled skid to get around him. I left yet another skid mark on the road from ass holes not paying attention.
