just a couple of things tbh
I do plan to upgrade them latter on but it hasn't been a concern at this moment since the bike doesn't really move when she gets on lol it's just how the bike is.

I also don't wish to up my spring rate. The bolt just rides rough it's not really a smooth ride but it's not a terrible ride lol

90% sure the manual says not to do the rear without being on the centerstand. It's easy enough to do.

No. That requires trusting the other person to not be an idiot. Also, I'm willing to risk my health and potential injury with my skill, but not somebody else's.

Yeah, year of insurance and the full year of registration are already paid for, so it’s not costing me anything to hold onto it. It would be nice to sell before winter but I won’t be mad if these all fall through.

Bright side, now you have a built in leg brace

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Bruthas, I can’t even begin to tell you what the fuck happened to us.
I was out of town visit my folks in middle GA, when it let loose. It crushed my community and killed many of my friends/neigbors. Our house is built like a fortress and the force of the water was massive.
It blew the creek out from 70’ wide to about 250’. The creek came up 60’ in the gorge off the back of my house.

I am extremely blessed as it almost took my family from me. Comment water resided I hike from town into thr mountains to rescue my girl and our pets.

I probably hiked 12 miles in 4500’ up. I met my girl in the driveway and was was so relieved…I put my body thru it bro.

I got 50 people off that mountain with all my equipment. A rescue squad was tasked, and I passed them on the way in.
Because I knew that mtn, we rendezvoused at my place and I gave out all my bikes, SXSs, ATVs and chainsaws to all the group.
We went out and rescued both alive and deceased.
At the end of it all, I am amazed by the determination of my community and the love for each other.

It wasn’t my time, and i believe that all my good deeds have come back my way.

All in all we got over 100 people off and also took the deceased down. It was the hardest shit I have ever gone thru and I lost a lot of loved ones.

Love your life to the fullest or die trying…brappp

Here it is, my home is still I one piece. Didn’t come off the boulders is embedded into.
The boulders don’t move underneath us, the but the house was shaking like fuck my GF said.
I am so lucky to just have cleanup to do, I could have lost everything. My neighbors surrounding us perished and this event has changed me. I won’t get graphic on here because you don’t want to know what I saw or had to do.
My community of is amazing and some of the most hardened people I have met.

love you guys and it wasn’t my time..brappp

Damn. Glad to see your place and you have made it through. Truly sorry for what you've had to endure. My heart goes out to everyone down there dealing with this. It's a beautiful area and a damned shame.

Do yourself a favor and once some time has past look into some counseling to help deal with the trauma. You've been handling a lot of shit and it will do you some good to talk to someone about it. This sort of stuff will stay with you long after the event has passed.

i for sure get that but it can be fun as long as you take it slow and help the passenger know what to do and can trust them. the risk of someone else life does get to me when me and the gf ride especially when we have close calls. it has made me wonder about keeping the bolt but i love the bike a lot but do worry about it more now.

fyi wasnt telling you to two up just was joking with you.
it dont work that well haha the brace in my hand likes to separate!

holy shit! first off im glad you and the gf and house are okay! but so very sorry for everything that happened man! do reach out if you need to just empty the head or need help.

i watched a few videos of what happened and its amazing how many people went and helped and loaned out items like you were to help others or how private helicopters were going in for hours helping people its amazing to see what people can do when its needed!

Holy crap, man. I'm sorry for the tragedy of it all, but glad that you are safe. I can't imagine the heartache and mess of it all. I'll pray that you and your neighbors can have peace and rebuild.

    Is there anything you need?

@Built2Ride do you have PayPal? Cash App? Venmo?

I have a little extra in my PayPal at the moment and want to help. You're in the area, know the people, and have first hand knowledge of who needs help and what's needed. I'm sure I'm not the only one on here that wants to pitch in from the safety of our little corners of the internet and try to do some good. I'm sure you'll make sure any donations go to the hardest hit and the families that need it the most.

This is so crazy, and I’m glad you and the family made it out unscathed!
As a former Appalachian American (E.TN) you and yours are in my thoughts as you rebuild and help others do the same :hattip:
