I have ordered from prizmatic powders before, good stuff. I've done a lot of bicycles with it. I have an honest powdercoat guy I work with. I just order the color I want and bring it to him with the job. He sandblast everything and powder coats it for very fair prices, he's never done me wrong.

just a couple of things tbh
nice! the wheels on my f150 was coated with powder from this company buuut the company that did the powdercoating i was hopeful would be good since i was told by a friend they were... but after being told multiple dead lines on when they were suppose to be done, wrong color, leaving weights on the wheels, bubbling and chipping, never able to contact the company no matter how many times i called the company including the dudes personal number! i will never be back to powdertex powedercoating in kansas... it took over a month to get the wheels done sadly the price when originally quoted wasnt bad at 450 but then with the color it went to 500 which i was okay with then he added more money on top for some reason even thou it was a terrible time dealing with them..

There is a vintage Japanese motorcycle show and swap meet January 12 in York,PA at the fairgrounds. It's always a big show with a lot of vendors and a lot of it is dirt stuff. Let me know if you decide to attend as it's less than 20 minutes from me and I'm already planning on attending. I actually have a friend who reps Ikon suspension and he'll probably be staying with me the night before.

Kind of amazed I didn't get into trouble yesterday. 3 cops on my way into work, was speeding when I saw each one. After the first I thought, no way I see a second, I'm good.. and then there was a second, and then a third :bikewheelie2: Luckily none of them turned around after me. Probably doing 35-40 in a 25, nothing too wild :spy:

So bit of back story first. I asked the gf awhile back if she would rather have a dirtbike or a cruiser like a Honda rebel or if she would like a Yamaha bolt. I told her if she wanted to do street and not dirt it's fine and I will sell my klx (since it's not being used really) to fund us getting another street bike. To my surprise she told me hell no! Im not selling my dirtbike (or the bolt) I want a dirtbike to ride with you. So we have been on and off looking for a xr150l or a xt250 ATM she likes the XR more.

But anyways since we are looking for a dirtbike this upcoming year I sent her a link to all the dirt helmets and if she finds one she likes we can go get it. She choose this blue fly racing one and I went by after work and grabbed it for her for as an early Christmas gift. she wanted to go pick out goggles and choose these 100% goggles. So here in a few months we should be adding another dirtbike/dual sport to the stable.

That's awesome! I like the color scheme. Dirtbiking together sounds like it would be a blast.

It was raining decently hard today, so of course that meant I had to go for a ride.

It was super foggy and wet out but of course the Super Tenere didn't care.

    upload_2024-12-21_21-25-40.png

First real ride that wasn't a commute trying out the tune and WOW. I've never ridden in Sport mode in the rain before because of how choppy the throttle was, but today I left it in Sport and the throttle was so smooth that I had no issues at all with the bike in sport mode in the wet. Absolutely love this tune and wish I had done it last year when I got the bike.

It might rain more tomorrow which means I might ride again.... :D

Ye! Hopefully we can get here one in a few months so we can start making little trips to go ride places this spring and summer!

Ya the color scheme is cool! They had one there I wanted bad buuuut since I'm gonna plate the klx I figured I'll spend the money on that and not a new dirt helmet lol.

Very interesting lineup! Those RS125's look like a hoot, every once in a while I see one pop up on FB marketplace and dream. And how are you liking the ZX4-RR? Are you tracking it or just screaming those tiny pistons around on the street?

I have a XT250, and WR250R as well. So yeah, got to get my dirt fix in as well. Yeah, I have seen a few RS125 pop up on FB over the yrs as well, and finally pulled the trigger on one. Always have wanted one since back in the day when they were announced. As for the ZX4RR, no track days yet, just back road street riding for now. I really need to get to the track one day.

Aaron friend of mine had a kdx 200, I really liked that bike. I always wanted one, shame they quit making it, it was great trail bike. I never see them around here for sale and if you do there usually pretty clapped out. I guess in later years it went to 220cc. It was just an easy to ride fun trail bike, enough power but not too much. A fmf pipe really woke the bike up.
